🤦 Manufacturing date can be decoded by VIN number, before PDI you should have done that. What i like most about Maruti suzuki that it bypassing showroom on insurance, give options to customer from which company you want to buy insurance and what to add or what to remove, showroom just finalise it.

My dad owned a Skoda Rapid in 2012, and the car and the company are impressive. However, the dealerships play a poor role. We were about to have a negative experience at Krishna Motors in Ludhiana regarding the service bill. Ultimately, they realized we are advocates, which made them hesitant to engage in any dubious activities. My point is that they exploit customers. Perhaps you had more trust in them because the commitment was only shared verbally and not documented. Overall, I highly recommend choosing VW over Skoda.

Just a point to note. Skoda/VW 1 LTR engine is not less an elephant. It is very powerful. Practically one doesn't need 1.5 LTR

Car Experience The driving dynamics, safety assurance, and high-speed stability of the car are exceptional. The engine response is smooth, and the mileage is commendable, especially on highways. For example, when maintaining a steady speed of 80-85 kmph, I achieved a mileage of 20.9 kmpl on the MID. Service Center Experience Unfortunately, my service center experience hasn't been great: They listen to the issues I report and try to fix them, but either the problems persist or new ones emerge (e.g., increased rattling noise in the cabin). Despite a 4-year warranty, some issues are dismissed as not covered. Tip: Always get a list of components covered and not covered under warranty, regardless of the manufacturer. Post-service recommendations: Thoroughly check your car after servicing. Ensure lubrication of all moving parts like door hinges, handles, folding mirrors, and seats. Inspect the engine bay after driving 4-5 km post-service to ensure everything is in order. Pros: Driving Dynamics, Safety Assurance, High-Speed Stability, Engine Response, Highway Mileage: Achieves impressive fuel efficiency, such as 20.9 kmpl at 80-85 kmph. Cons: Rattling Noises - Dashboard: Behind the infotainment system. Doors: Rattling noise on rough patches (not on plain roads). Rear Seat Belts: Noise caused by belts rubbing against nearby fiber panels. Handbrake Button: Occasional rattling. Cabin Tyre Noise: Likely to be resolved with damping (yet to be done).
