Are you able to control pops by throttle? Can you make it not pop if you want to by completely closing the throttle?

I can relate to an extent. I got my first 250 in memory of my late father who had a passion for riding. Ever since then, I haven't felt much joy unless I'm on 2 wheels. Great video man

Got my SV650 in my first year of college for computer science. Bought the bike because I was in a low place too. No friends and low grades. I graduated school a year ago and am still in that low spot. I thought things would get better once I got an amazing job like I have but it hasn’t. I said fuck it and got my dream bike last week, a cbr600rr. I’m really hoping things get better for me like they did for you. I’m so proud of you though and glad the bike helped you get there.

Good bike, put 18k on my 08 digital silver. The Yoshi sounds good with the servo delete but the leo vince is better even without(fit, look, sound) and I like the design of the Watsen flush mount turn signals but they're spendy but don't look like a bubble. Can't remember where I got them but I have some retro fitted ducati 949 mirrors :)

So, first I will say , glad to hear things are working out for you. And I understand and respect your decision. But take some advice from a guy who has lived a very long, rich, fulfilling and successful life. And a guy who spent 4 months in the hospital when a 19 year old driving a flat bed tow truck made an illegal left turn through a red light. Work gives one meaning , and purpose, and satisfaction. As does a family and being a father. Enjoy those things but leave a place for the bike in your heart. There will be times when you just need to clear your head, get away from it all , change the music , meditate, and blast down the road. Ride safely , don’t split lanes , stay out of traffic as best you can, don’t push the limits , and Zen-out. I got to this video after reading a quote from your “Season of The Bike” piece in a Progressive Ad. You nailed it man ! You write beautifully and spun a gorgeous word-picture. Put it aside, but don’t give it up. Just ride like everybody is out to kill you, and you now have a lot to live for. Be well. Be happy. Ride on !

Beautifully emotive. I’m sharing this with everyone who has ever asked “Why risk life and limb ?” I cobbled together my first mini-bike from my beloved Schwinn and a used $5 lawn mower engine at about 12 years old and have loved riding anything with 2 wheels for the last 60 years. Thank you !

Lot of stuff into your bike. like it. Ideas for my 2024. minus the tune and cat delete. voids my engine/oiled parts for life warranty which is fine because ive never messed with that stuff on any bike. just slip ons. I had the Road 5's on my R6 and loved them. Never slid or anything. Lasted me 15,000 miles as well riding street and 2 track days. May get Road 6's some point but idk.

I don’t know if someone told you, or you found out. But the tire is slippery because you have to warm them up, you can use a curb. Or do the natural way gradually lean taking away the chicken strips and giving you grip.😊

My OCD leads me to comment... your Yoshi pipe sticks out too much out the back. cut the pipe about an inch and bring it back in so it sits flush with the tail. You could also look at TST industries. They offer adaptor to drop it a half inch so that your brake light is actually visible.

I'm very interested in picking up a 08 600RR in the spring .. now I'm assuming since you deleted the exhaust valves does it throw a light on the dash .. I've seen the elimination harnesses are fairly cheap

Nice! I’ve been looking everywhere with a vid with the Moore Mafia flash WITH the pops and bang; especially, on the beautiful 2008 CBR. Question, did you find it to be a little excessive(the pops and etc.)? I found after watching the video a few times it kind of grew off me. Other than that, it does sounds good man. I’d say you were happy with the flash as well? Cheers

your bike is clean bro! i like the tune. those pops it makes are sweeeet lol i bought a 07 600rr about 2-3 months ago as well, its straight piped -_- i've been trying to figure out a way to get a muffler on it, its chopped up weird its directly in the middle underneath but has this pipe attached to it to have it pointing outwards so its not right onto my rear tire. i wanna figure out how to fix that though without buying a whole new exhaust system its unnecessarily loud lol
