you turned a stage 1 pipe into a stage2
I don't know how are the stage2 pipes inside but it must be close
@@C.Veigas stage2 dont have the plate that was cut out
For the sound or heat
Nice!Big difference.
Thanks for the info and demonstration. Will be doing this to 2018 indian chieftain, same exhaust set up
Thx! I must try it in my Chief Vintage 2019! 😀
Thanks for the video. I have a Springfield too. No backfires? How about gas mileage? Power? Thanks. Don’t listen to the trolling knuckleheads trolling you. Glad you posted this video.
Everything is the same, except the sound.
You take a chance of metal shavings getting sucked back into motor
how pressure works in the exhaust is that everything comes out and nothing goes in. the air intake side sucks and the exhaust side blows.
Careful when doing this. If you change the head pressure to much you will need to tune your carburetors or you risk damaging your heads, pistons, valves and so on. Check with your mechanic if you dont believe me. Goodluck!
It's fuel injected.
Hi. Nice mod. Do you have any estimate of the increase in noise (e.g., in decibels)? I have a Scout 60 in Vancouver. My stock exhaust is quiet with about 85 db sitting in the rider's position and the same db about 10' (3 m) back from the exhaust. At the exhaust pipe exit it's about 108 db stock. I want a rumble but not the noise. Thanks very much. Would love to visit Portugal one day.
Hi, I have no idea. The scout is diferent, you have to search for a diferent mod.
Will this work on fake leather, or will it rip it?
I realy can't tell. Put a drop on the inside, wait a week and see what happen.
Hard to believe there are still guys trolling around out there using exhaust noise trying to get people to notice them.
Finally, the voice of reason.
If the guys riding around on the loud exhaust only knew what 90+% of the general public thought of them, they would quit resorting to this juvenile behavior.
I don't like loud loud pipes but some more sound is welcome. You have to ride to experience the visceral as well as aural pleasure of right sounding pipes gives as loud pipes go this is not loud or that disturbing. Yes there are some who abuse your ears for attention. But this mod of the exhaust is not it.
@@guyfuller1369 Well, well, well... look who I found here 😄
@@BikesILike G’day, Paul. I’m sprinkled thinly here and there throughout the TH-cam comments like ash from a tiny volcano.
CVeigas, hello from Kansas, USA. Nice video and modification hack 😀. Yes, as long as all the metal shavings do get blown out the back, this seems to be the best, quickest, and cheapest way to upgrade your exhaust note. I love that Indian red with that vintage look. I'm going to get one for my Sunday rides. Have you done anything else or have any other modification tips for us CVeigas?
Hello and thanks for your comment. I haven’t done anything special, a guy custom made me new smaller supports for the mirrors, so that they don’t stick out of the handle bar and I made dividers for the saddle bags to close off the back end. drive.google.com/file/d/1tiq8a-lBvQCiYa_Q1DRHXT8QEp5TNMIJ/view?usp=sharing
Wise move to remove the bottom rocker patch!
It was just to change the whole back of the vest. We are an ocean apart, thing are different over here.
lol. "wise move" ok bud 🤡
No doubt
It’s funny that when I owned a Victory Cross Country this same thing was the most popular exhaust mod. Gotta love how Polaris bikes sound like a 4 wheeler.
They smartly made it emission complient while making it easy to mod
@@CatNerfer3000 I’m not sure the point of your comment. Every motorcycle is emissions compliant and easy to modify lmfao
@rnfb185 I ran my Indian scout and my Yamaha grizzly sound by side by side and they literally synchronize, lol
Did have retune the fuel mixture/Dino test
I didn't do anything.
Thank you very much for the info save $ by doing this now I don’t need to buy new pipes love the sound now.
The neighbour came out after the second run. Nice!
Good luck with all that shrapnel in your engine
How would ‘shrapnel’ get in the engine?
@@Steve-qn8gn Exactly. Pressure goes away from the engine, so that would never, ever happen
lol, and I thought he was drilling the exhaust
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Lolazo
The sound is really good. I have a question is this save for the engine?
I think so, I've never seen any problem with open up the passage of exhaust gases.
I can't believe my ears holy shit... THANKS YOU.... I must try this on my 2020 challenger
Did you ever get to doing this on your 2020? I'm curious because i wanna try it on my 2023 lol... Maybe
Brilliant! I should have done this instead of slip on pipes
ele fica sarrando na perna mano ksksksks
Pitbull deve pensar sai do meu cu
My x axis is to far right
fixed it already?
what abarth150 said works to some degree, try that.
Found what's wrong: only works on Win XP :(
@Noneevo try what abarth 150 said, if not you hae to return it
you realy have to return it
ok thanks but the whole yoke is now failing on me now (the mode switch is gone and the clock sometimes malfunctions)
in that case you have waranty. but that problem it's just a broken switch, easy to repair.
i have the same problem and about 2 weeks ago my hat switch broke (it wont look left/right but will look up and down) and i only got this in december 2009
you solved the problem by pushing and pulling quicky?????
I have the same problem but mine is alot more sever i heard that if you plug the quadrent into your computer (either in the keyboard or mouse port) and calibrate it from there it will fix it
I didn't. I had it replaced
I've no idea, I've already sended it to repair, I still have waranty. I have the yoke, pedals and another quadrant and I've notice that all of them have the same problem but it's so small that it's not realy a problem, but all axys glitch some times.
I have exactly the same problem, any idea how to fix it?????
