Maplestory's BowMaster classes is one of the absolute strongest boss mules in the game, and in this video I give my thoughts on the class. This is a prototype for a new series I want to start. It's a little rough but I hope you still enjoy! The final run was about 16 minutes and crystals sold for 1.55bish.

btw between timecuts (like sleeping and waking up) if you change the location of the footage it makes it feel different for the viewer as opposed to logging off and restarting in the same place.
13:19 how come you still have the challenger weapon equipped instead of a real abso weapon? the 5 set bonus + better potential would probably boost your cp even more. regardless, great vid!
Yeahhh, I think I'm going to switch to Abso. I was just being cheap with my money and trying to wait for Arcane weapon, but its probably not worth saving the 2-3B.
@ ah I see. yeah that’s fair, especially if you’re able to party clear all of ctene at your current CP. if you do decide to though, you could save some money by using the free 17 star scroll we get through the event daily check in (if you haven’t used it already haha)

For the sweetwater monocle, you want to transpose the pap mark into it when the pap mark is 16 stars. So you'd safeguard the pap mark, hope it goes to 16 stars (so it would drop a star) then transpose it onto a sweetwater monocle (transposing is like transferring, except it keeps the stats so you'd have a 15 star sweetwater monocle with 8 more attack than it would have if it wasn't transposed). From there you'd want to send the monocle to 22 stars. A transposed 22 star monocle (or even a 22 star monocle not transposed) will be better than your 19 star eye patch, it just really is that much more stat and attack. Commerci does suck so I feel you there, it took me multiple weeks to transpose my monocle.
I think I'll keep an eye out for CPQ parties and just full send the eyepatch in the next starforce event. Thanks for the explanation!

Wow, do you think having drop gear has been essential to your progression? I just got back into the game this past August and haven't really focused on making drop gear, but now have 6.7k legion and a few 260+ chars... none of which have any sup gollux gear.
Drop gear is 100% essential to your progression. Having 100% DR is literally double -- 200% is tripling -- your chances at meaningful items from mobs and bosses.
Yes drop/meso gear should be one of your first priorities! Duky has a good video on this somewhere
Commenting for algorithm. I think you underestimate how much combat power you need to solo BM & H Seren by quite a bit. You need full 22* fake 3L gear to hit around ~150-170M CP and even then BM would be about a 45min clear. Only way to compensate would be to get a ton of frags - holding out for them making frags tradeable in heroic around this time so you can push your main and fund your side projects
I agree I likely under estimated it in this video, but I also think you are over estimating. We will have 2 more 2nd masteries, and frags will come easier due to being allowed to do the Epic Dungeons on two characters a week. Combined with new legion skills and hypothetical Night Troupe buffs, I think I'm not too far off. Plus, I think aiming for a 50 minute+ clear on your legion champions is ideal. You only need one clear to get the benefit (in theory).
@Doubtfull2D long term for sure will be doable. I have two 150-160M libbed mules and it's def not possible for them currently. The kicker to soloing BM is getting out of P1 in 1 burst. Definitely possible without 1 bursting it, but let's face it, people don't do that on their mains and won't do it on 5 other characters
iirc 8% crit line = 3L stat, might be diff now with all the reboot changes and what not but it’s still an insane amount of damage because of the way crit damage is calculated in the dps formula~ also what was your question about your cpq gear exactly?
I was curious what the %success chance of transposing is. My first attempt failed and I didn't save enough coins to try again lol
@ ooof yea I made that mistake before as well haha. If you are completely out and can’t do anymore voyages, iirc u can talk to the girl npc and say u don’t have enough coins and she gives u some more after a small lecture so u can get coins again. transposing is 10% chance which is one of the lowest in the game so its def gonna take a few tries. make sure you are transposing a 16* item on to your cpq items for the max transposing effect of carrying over one extra star’s worth of stats. lmk if this was confusing at all and gl on the progression 🫡

How to make the bow behind ur back?
Go to the cash tab in your equip menu and change the "default weapon motion"
The explorer bowman cash set comes with this bow as weapon. You equip it as default weapon, it will be on your character's back
Can you explain other than ied, boss dmg, I feel like I have strength to take it down but not as fast even at 250 I’m 9.5k legion is it crit dmg/rate?
crit dmg/rate definetly helps. another big thing is that contributes to damage is guild buffs. I believe its something like a 25% FD gain.
ur sf is low and and ur lines. plus u need full abso with 2 lin 16 stars cra 2 line 17 stars. then go gor gulluc iiteams. work on ur wse to get 2 lines boss and attack. u should clear all faily quickly. once u have that set u can go for arcanes

Audio quality is great, something make you could make small cuts in the entirety so that there isn't so much time where you're just thinking of what to say. I'm looking forward to seeing what your channel will grow into here in the maple community keep it up broski

To fix my capability of super jumping consistency, I had to switch which keys they were on. I put jump on space and dash on alt. You also need to set up your repeat delay in windows keyboard settings. I can't remember where I found the Buccaneer "requirements" for this setting but it might be in that Buccaneer bible in the class discord. I've also mained Buccaneer for a very long time so I set these things up years ago (Kronos switched to Hyperion upon release).
Oh, I also have a mobbing and bossing keyboard preset on only this class specifically because I have no desire to boss with dash on alt.
