How to make a fabric texture from petals? Tutorial
I showed you how to prepare petals in the previous video. In this video, I show a textile surface that is formed from petals. It can look like fish scales or create volume. Here, I used a dense material for the petal (satin) and a transparent but form standing material (organza). Combining different fabrics and petal sizes can provide interesting options for garment decoration. I foresee questi...
How to sew a knitwear bell?
I cut the bell out of the leftover knitwear. I didn't have a pattern, but rather went by my own feelings about the size and extension of the bell. You can sew in any way, but I recommend either an elastic stitch on a regular sewing machine or a single-stitch on a flat-bed sewing machine Music: Jeff Kaale- Pancakes (individual license) #textilesurfacedesign #creativedraping #sewing #drapingtechn...
How make textile flower (petals are with dart shaping)
This technique is quite simple, but it has its own nuances. To begin with, you need to choose a fabric that is dense enough or contains enough synthetic fibres to melt the edges of the petals. You can try to make double petals by adding a thinner fabric such as organza. The petals in this technique can be used to fill the surface of the product like fish scales, the texture will look interestin...
How to make sewn oblique cut pipe? #textilesurfacedesign #sewingtutorial #drapingtechnique #fashion
A very interesting element for creating a textile surface. It has a huge number of design options. To do this, I used fabrics that are usually used to make wedding dresses - organza and satin. They are elastic enough to form a circle in cross-section. Expect my experiments with these textile tubes in the video shorts in the coming days. #textilesurfacedesign #fabricmanipulation #creativedraping...
Sewed and cut pleats technique of textile surface design
Sewed and cut pleats technique This technique can be used to create various textile surfaces such as scales or imitation chainmail. The appearance depends on the way you sew and cut the pleat - in even symmetrical rows or with offset elements in each row. Either way, you can experiment with the size and depth of the pleat Music Jeff Kaale - Pancakes (individual license) #textilesurfacedesign #c...
Fabric origami leaf
This technique can be used in both flat and three-dimensional versions. Origami elements are very easy to sew on, but due to their modularity, they can form various combinatorial designs on a textile surface. #textilesurfacedesign #creativedraping #fabricmanipulation #drapingtechnique

Do you have a step by step video?
The smocking pattern is in my book, and the drapery version is an idea of how to use any smocking pattern. Some examples of the patterns and how to make them can be found in other videos on TH-cam or my Instagram. I'm still working on the full-size patterns, so they will appear a little later
@maryna_kisil_studio Hi, where can I find your book? Also, do you make videos showing how to sew the smocking panels into an actual garment?
@@jamialaprince6556 Hello! The book is available only in digital format, you can find the link on my Instagram, there are many ideas on this topic
