I went to a PUTS show back around 2005 in Baton Rouge at the Spanish Moon. I got there hours before the openers and was the first in the venue. I went upstairs on the balcony and saw Thes One and Double K sitting in a booth chatting and drinking. I walked over and told them I've been listening to them since I was 12 or 13 and have been waiting forever to see them live. They both got a huge smile on their faces, dabbed me up, told me to sit down with them and handed me a bottle of bacardi apple. Sharing a drink with these 2 legends straight from the bottle was something I'll never forget. One of the coolest shows ever. Absolute legends and I'm so grateful I got to experience how magical they were as humans, as well as musicians.
