👍🏻 love those , and U 2 fasteners also , more expensive but well worth the difference
😂thats why menards said if you couldn't come down on your cost of windows then they weren't gonna buy more In 2024.boy did they go cheaper 😅. Going tripain huh. From what Iv seen the weep holes or ventilation holes need to be tremendously different/ smaller ,than you wouldn't need tripain windows. Hope the houses can support the extra weight considering our double pain windows are super heavy as is and most Of the windows only have bare minimum Rebar ( Metal support)to keep it from Boeing. If you want a good Rebar you have to pay extra. Not to mention the stuff that they're making these windows out of it's extremely bad for the environment non-recyclable. And it cost jeldwen basically nothing. Every window you buy from jeldwen thats made of vinyl will be on this planet forever think about that😢. And no they don't have a buyback system or a take back system straight into the dump .🎉

Typical Canadian. Annoying and keeps interrupting the expert.
Hugh from Bruce Telecom! Looking good, old friend!
Test it with ur hands or fingers
Grk screws fasteners are strong in certain projects. They cause wiggle and can bend. Spax doesn't bend and is stronger
This aged well...they are now bankrupt. Good try but to me it seemed to lack any deep tech core.
They went bankrupt because their entire investor base just disappeared in 2023. They were in deep trouble and failed to be profitable, and that was their biggest problem. I almost got a job at Renorun
Even tho it comes with a washer built into thr screw, would installing the screw with another washer help in my particular application? I'm planning in installing a pull up bar into the ceiling, and I'll be pulling downward with about 225lbs. Ty in advance
Quit interrupting the poor girl, she’s explaining everything great, but can’t finish her points because the guy keeps cutting her off!
Lag bolts are last century. They are also much more expensive compared to GRK RS screws. I built a redwood tent platform with 4x4s and used a couple of boxes of 5/16x5 1/4 for about $100. That same amount with lag bolts would have been hundreds of dollars.
I want to know the break strength of screws in side way. How much weight can it holds before breaking?
I have recently had a problem with them. I was building a simple garden bench out of 4x4 pine post. 4 of the six grk screws that I used got stuck and hopelessly stripped and un useable. I don't know what I did wrong whatever I did wrong I need to figure out. Please help
Great tool
What thickness and R value would be the best for a two car garage where the concrete would be 4 inch thick and the floor heated with PEX Tubing?
An average of 45% on your energy bill? Show me the hard data to support that claim. As an expert in the field, that’s complete hogwash, particularly to claim it as an AVERAGE savings.
Why don’t you have lots more Subscribers???? Good Luck! I hope your Channel Grows! 🤠👮🏻♂️🇺🇸👻👋😉🍀🐉🌚. B9USA Sr.
Music sucks
Tear out of the same GRK in a standard 1.75” LVL beam material?
If you build a house and use a lot of GRK fasteners, you'll need to get a second mortgage just for the screws. Damn those things are expensive.
I didnt hear the 3 magic words for framing: Better Than Nails! Are tehy?
I have no idea why people are putting any more fasteners that what is required to keep it in place till you get the drywall up. Like on the verticals just two fasteners per sheet. You will fasten the shit out of it when you put up the drywall.
Do you need rebar with Hydrofoam, and if not, why not? Do you use hydrofoam only on basement floors?
This also helps to overcome voltage drop issue in larger homes.
Ey mate!👍🏼
What a GreatProduct. Im building a workshop one day and will use these screws to hold the entire structue together. and see how it will do doring severe weather.
Wait! What size was this screw? Is this a #17 (appx 0.225" shank diameter) that is 4 inches long?? What was the size the pre-drilled hole?
I just use the window frame screws, gold with torx head, never used tapcons,
Lol...him reading it upside down😅
Not using Newton for force measures...
What is wrong with kN?
@@jimovo kN is fine, I was referring to 3:11 where she cites pound force as a unit of force and not Newton.
Hot.
I would suggest you watch Project Farm to see how real testing is done. This was lame af
Demeaning banter. Why must you speak with the tester as if she is a child?
Can you use resilient channel with Sonopan?
His ears are really red
Awesome! I found it at Home Depot, Toronto
How come u don’t vacuum the dust off?
Thumbs down for the ear drum busting, overly loud, totally unnecessary Thump Thump Thump Music! Don't force your "Drugger Noise" on everybody!!!!
What is "drugger noise?"
@@iNowHateAtSigns As I said, mind destroying, ear drum busting, overly loud, totally unnecessary Thump Thump Thump noise mistakenly called "music"!
@@josephkane825 Wow, okay. I can see you are very passionate about what is "mistakenly called music." Thanks for your reply, have a nice day.
Can't wait to try this in my library build this winter.

I don't know how teachers ever functioned without bass and drums playing during the lesson!
I hate your screws. I have to use burke bars and I'm usually so mad, I break them with my hammer. How do I take them out?
WOW! Great video, well done. That 18" screw - that is just nuts. Nice job.
Isn’t he the guy from Mike Holmes show.
