😂thats why menards said if you couldn't come down on your cost of windows then they weren't gonna buy more In 2024.boy did they go cheaper 😅. Going tripain huh. From what Iv seen the weep holes or ventilation holes need to be tremendously different/ smaller ,than you wouldn't need tripain windows. Hope the houses can support the extra weight considering our double pain windows are super heavy as is and most Of the windows only have bare minimum Rebar ( Metal support)to keep it from Boeing. If you want a good Rebar you have to pay extra. Not to mention the stuff that they're making these windows out of it's extremely bad for the environment non-recyclable. And it cost jeldwen basically nothing. Every window you buy from jeldwen thats made of vinyl will be on this planet forever think about that😢. And no they don't have a buyback system or a take back system straight into the dump .🎉

Grk screws fasteners are strong in certain projects. They cause wiggle and can bend. Spax doesn't bend and is stronger

Even tho it comes with a washer built into thr screw, would installing the screw with another washer help in my particular application? I'm planning in installing a pull up bar into the ceiling, and I'll be pulling downward with about 225lbs. Ty in advance

Lag bolts are last century. They are also much more expensive compared to GRK RS screws. I built a redwood tent platform with 4x4s and used a couple of boxes of 5/16x5 1/4 for about $100. That same amount with lag bolts would have been hundreds of dollars.

An average of 45% on your energy bill? Show me the hard data to support that claim. As an expert in the field, that’s complete hogwash, particularly to claim it as an AVERAGE savings.

I have no idea why people are putting any more fasteners that what is required to keep it in place till you get the drywall up. Like on the verticals just two fasteners per sheet. You will fasten the shit out of it when you put up the drywall.
