Wow! This video was made just for me. How did you know? 😊 When I first started stamping in the 90's, everything was wood-mounted rubber or unmounted rubber, so I stamped them in a binder by category and put them in drawers by category. The rubber word stamps were stamped in the categorized sheets in a binder. Then they were stamped on the outside of an envelope, placed inside, and then filed alphabetically in small file drawers. Then came the clear stamps, usually in sets. Didn't know what to do with them, so just filed them in boxes. Don't think I have used more than a few of them. Will be looking forward to breaking up the sets the way you have shown. Thanks for addressing the stamp thickness issue. Was very helpful! This video is going in my notebook as one to refer to as I sort my stamps. You have my heart-felt thanks for helping me with this rather big problem. I am currently setting up my stamp room in a new house and one of my goals was to start using those things that have been neglected. Thanks! ❤❤❤

Definitely a great idea! I wa.s glad to hear that you mixed manufacturers too. I was wondering about that. I have several sets from Cocoa Daisy and they have such random things on each monthly one i wouldn't ever know where to look for anything so I digitally organized mine. I take an image of every stamp I have (or screen shot anc drop it), upload it into One Note and then I can just search for keywords. While this helps me FIND the stamps I want, it doesn't keep them easily organized. I think this might be the next thing I do in order to use them more. Love love love this idea!! Especially kind of giving yourself permission to get rid of the ones you don't use

Do you use Grafix for both top and bottom for the stamp storage or do you recommend a thinner film?

I saw this video quite awhile ago, at the time I didn’t have too many stamps so it wasn’t necessary but now it certainly is!! Took me quite awhile to refine the video 😂

Great stuff Laura! I’m a hybrid scrapbooker as well but feel that digital is more manageable all around. Id love to know more about the page making process/formatting in Dropbox to help streamline my workflow. Thanks for sharing!

I have just moved to digital as well. I will still have some page protector albums. I also found the number of albums increasing a lot and that I was putting a lot of pressure on myself to 'keep up'. Did you need to make any adjustments to the formatting of pictures and text close to the centre binding?

This is so nice! All of your scrapbooks look great. I do feel the pressure to not saddle my children with 200 gigantic scrapbooks… but I get so frustrated with the computer at times. I need to figure out a better work flow. Thanks for the inspiration. Love all your work!

Cool book! It looks like you’re using a lot less product. Are you still getting any physical products or mostly using your stash? Do you have all your digital products organized so you can find what you need for your digital pages? I think I’d struggle with that! Love that you’re letting your style adapt to what works best for you!

AT LAST!! SOMEONE E L S E who gets that Crafters HOUSE T O N S of U N U S E D VINYL that serves NO PURPOSE!! “Unseen is FOREVER FORGOTTEN” - and NEVER USED! Sadly, I see no answer to the dilemma but to do as you have in this video - cannibalize my clear stamps and get them segregated into USABLE categories … 😵‍💫 🤦🏼‍♀️. 🤷🏼‍♀️. ‼️
