Kingslayer (Riverrun Edition) - Game of Thrones Soundtrack
One of the best music compositions by Ramin Djawadi, composer for the whole of HBO's Game of Thrones. Plays at various instances during the Riverlands campaign of Ser Jaime, now the head of all Lannister forces. The main focus of the campaign is to drive out Ser Brynden "the Blackfish" Tully from the retaken Riverrun.
There are many renditions of the Kingslayer theme, the original one is played for the first time when Jaime tells Lady Brienne why and how he killed Aerys Targaryen, the Mad King. Sadly, I could not find any other renditions on TH-cam of this deep, dark theme. Hence uploaded one myself.
Clips are owned by HBO and used from HBO's Game of Thrones S06 E07-08.

Lord Tywin Lannister and Arya Stark
มุมมอง 2.2M3 ปีที่แล้ว
One of the best one-to-one dialogue themes in GoT, which occurs between Lord Tywin Lannister and Arya Stark, while she is disguised and works as his cupbearer at Harrenhal. Sadly, I couldn't find any single video encompassing all their interactions, so edited a video myself. Honestly i love tywin.. a great character... And a tragic one too ...
I really wanted to see him go up against Danny
"You're a sharp little thing" foreshadowing
I have a theory he suspected her to be someone of prominence. But was patient. But in the end knew who she was and was guiding her all along. I think th lost faith in his is children.
The daughter he wishes he had
Charles dance was the perfect choice for Tywin he has so much authority in his voice.
Tywin talking about his father is both said and revealing. He loved him and liked him as a friend. However he also resented him very much and shows why he grew to the man he was today
The man everyone feared more than the king. A title I’m sure Tywin absolutely loved!
ANECHE ANECHE ANECHE
If Arya were Tywin's daughter instead of Cercei.. Lannisteros would be interesting!
Tywin was simply a force. He forced into being what he needed, molded people to be tools. But he was a Man.
“I eat a lot, I just don’t grow.” Story of my fucking life. A runt whelp, to be sure.
It’s almost a shame these two couldn’t meet as friends.
these scenes are sooo good
If THE Tywin Lannister called me “too smart for my own good” my ego would be in heavens
The show would be much easier to watch and digest in the later seasons if Arya killed everyone on her list, smoothly and unexpected. If writers more developed the story about White walkers and Jon Snow as promised prince. If Tyrion was actually Targaryen and Daenerys never came across Narrow see, but her Dragons did snd so on. Still in shock and disappointed how such a good story ended so bad 😢
“Kingslayer.” .. “Blackfish.”
I dont know who more sinister calling the shots in the shadows Tywin Lannister or Otto Hightower
I know he knew that she was noble but i always wondered did he know she was Ned’s kid at any point.
Arya was like the daughter he never had
This Tywin i Like, they should have kept him through the end of the series and not that dumb abomination that the writers make him become.
I thought their relationship was so wholesome
A lion doesn't eat sheep, but a wolf does.
I really loved this addition, as it wasn't in the books.
I feel like Arya was the son that Tywin had always wanted
I liked it better when she was Roose Bolton’s cupbearer
It must really horrible times when you can either only can drink between only wine 🍷 or water 💧 as your options ….
Tyrion And Arya Are The Only Guys Who Got Their Intelligence Acknowledged By Tywin Himself
If they ever come out with another spin-off then arya should ride a dragon
Was Tywin only pretending of not knowing Arya
Most excellent and captivating dialog between the two.
Tywin basically knew she was the daughter of a lord not sure if he knew she was a Stark but definitely she was of nobility. His main reason for not taking her prisoner was because on the off chance he was wrong and she really was a nobody he would be seen as a laughing stalk. Vanity is the one thing that kept her out of a cell.
Tywin literally helped his son overcome dyslexia. Too bad he couldn’t stop him from coming over his daughter as well.
I would LOVE to see this two team up together
He knew lol
Is it ever said what tywin actually thought of Arya. Like what was his suspicions
"Careful now, girl. I enjoy you, but be careful." They used to be able to make their own compelling dialog.
10:15 that transition from grin to cold grimace. Can imagine he was thinking “now if only my children were more like this cupbearer..”
He never shows any interest in his actual children or grandchildren beyond what was necessary for his own goal of keeping his name and legacy alive. Unlike what he tries to portray with his lengthy rants about family, he's not the sentimental type; he merely wants to keep his own name and legacy alive through his children. He's too cruel and calculating at his age to have fatherly instincts. He found an intellectual worthy of conversing with in Arya. Someone who he recognized was sharp and quick-witted, and admired her for it. Someone who could actually pick up and understand the fine and intricate points he was trying to make. You can see it at the very beginning of the clip, when one of his men says they're going to execute the prisoners, and he asks him the rhetorical question in a condescending way about whether they are so overstaffed that they don't need bodies to work. It's as if he's disappointed that he is surrounded by so many idiots. Again you can see him in front of his underlings asking questions from Arya about Robb as if to make a point to his commanders that nothing is above death and defeat.
the way he looks at her and says smart they got such great chemistry
Some of the best scenes with these two phenomenal performers
This was an Incredible Video with Arya Stark My All Time Favorite Character In Game Of Thrones and Tywin Lanister My All Time Favorite Antagonist’s in Game of Thrones. Maisie Williams does an Amazing Job working with The Powerful and Legendary Charles Dance.
2:55 “And that why I became no one baby” - Aria season 6 probably
Every now and then I watch these masterpieces and then season 8 pops in my head and I have to stop. Sunday was the fifth year since the finale and it still fucking hurts.
2:58 Tywin thinking GOD DAMN look a t this one and I got stuck with the Monk, the dwarf and the Whore and let's not even start with my dumbass grandchildren
War of the five kings, and he's remembered for dead in the toilet ass unwiped
If Tywin could have Ned Starks kids I guarantee he would trade. Everybody except probably Sansa but she cool. Dude would probably even like Bran even in the wheelchair. They all had brains. Tyrion had brains too but he also killed his mom in birth and that killed Tywin
One of the few good changes to the book! Loved their interaction far more than what little we got in the books with Roose Bolton
The daughter he always wanted.
What killed him? Loyalty…
