Dasher was so so good for our first jumping lesson! I’m so excited for our future and how we’ll progress together! We have a show coming up in November, so we’re going to do some hard core prep!

My biggest flex is that I taught my dog how to sit, stay, and shake in literally 2 minutes, I ain’t even kidding rn when I say sit took 1 minute by just pressing his butt and using a finger he understood, he has a breed in him that puts their paw on you to say they love you so he already wanted to put his hand in mine, and he loves tummy rubs so I just pushed him over and tapped the ground and he hnderstood, I don’t think I’ll ever get another dog like him
I wish! My dog is a think completely on their own breed so it takes forever to train him 😅

What saddle and stirrups do you use? Your saddle look comfy lol 😅
My saddle is so so comfy!! It’s an ancient Dover saddle that I got from a friend who hadn’t used it for 10 years! I conditioned it a ton and it is the best saddle I’ve ever ridden in! I stole these leathers from a very tall friend so they’re very wonky looking but I make it work! I also have magnetic safety stirrup irons that I got after being dragged by a horse! I totally recommend safety stirrups!!! 🫶🫶

I had a lesson today and I was hoping for a schooling lesson but we had to do a hack bc all the arenas were being used, so I’m watching GoPro videos

There really are! I wish I could have listed more! I have been and still kinda am stuck with the negative things, so I wanted to remind myself of all the wonderful things that can/have happened! 🫶

I just saw your channel and already like it!
Thats why humans have come up with things to help us stay safer such as helmets, air vests, stirrup that release & so on. And of course practice, practice, practice!
I will say I’ve had to replace a lot of helmets over the years, but I am so so thankful for them!! Also safety stirrups are the best and I will not get on a horse unless I have safety stirrups 😂
Disclaimer: the second clip was from more than a year ago and was a freak accident. We were both totally fine and he got lots and lots of treats after!
