I'll admit, seeing an aircraft carrier, even if it is a "small" version in a way, leave our ports is quite a prideful thing. It's just sad that we have basically destroyed our navy, airforce and army to a point where we are no longer seen as a military power. When we were in our early teens, a friend turned up at the park in a pair of winkle pickers. My Nanna used to live in Gosport and she used to take me on the ferry to Portsmouth. Before she passed away early this year. Very sad that both my Nanna and of course the Queen have passed away and Prince Charles is now King Charles the III.
