Started getting a clunk instead of a crank not that long ago. Got it to start one last time after multiple attempts with clunks and the motor sounded healthy when it did start so I’m hoping this is just a starter issue. 2001 is300 sedan
The "clunk" is probably the sound of it extending. It extends and spins with enough power and a healthy starter.
