Graphic Images of a German Soldier's Burial, a Death Card & Dog Tag | Invasion of Poland Display
Going over a new display in my collection, covering the invasion & occupation of Poland during WW2. So far it's just a small collection as ground dug type of relics are hard to get from Poland. What I have so far includes 2 pictures of German soldiers and an officer burying their fallen ally, a death card belonging to a separate soldier who was killed at Dąbrowa Górnicza in Poland shortly after victory was declared, and a dog tag from the 60th Infantry Regiment. I hope you enjoy the video, please like and subscribe if you do!

Amazing stuff love the vids keep on posting great stuff 😊
Even though the repaint great helmet and great video 😊
That is not an original SS decal. Collectors see that from miles away! It isn't even of high quality repro.
I am aware now, thank you. I just got it because it was pretty cheap, and I was desperate for a cool looking helmet
I have a German helmet my dad brought back from the northern coast of France. He got it in late June of 1944. He thought it was a navy helmet. I’m looking to sell it . I can provide pictures and info of it. If anyone can help me with this I’d appreciate it.
My Instagram is @frontlinememorabiliaww2 if you'd send me the pictures i'd love to help out!
I never liked the M42. Cannot beat the M40 M35.
Very true, the M35 I have is a double decal Luftwaffe helmet. It is a very nice piece
I am now back on Instagram after being banned, give me a follow if you want to see extra WW2 collection related content, channel teasers and updates instagram.com/frontlinememorabiliaww2/
The person who painted the helmet was probably hoping to sell it as a original camouflage ss helmet which go for a lot of money upon ruining the paintwork and now cursing had no choice but to say that this is a repainted one instead, now accidentally making it look like a right mess.now the only thing going for it is to now sell it as a normal ss helmet making to me thinking he's was hoping at the time to mask the ss runes which to me now stand out strong. The ss shield doesn't look right to me. that is my opinion, and here's to deception gone wrong haha 😅😅
The Brian Ice German Helmet Lot Number book revision 11 can be bought on ebay as a PDF file just scroll past all the hardcover versions going for $100+. Your lot number isn't listed. There is an online German Helmet lot number database on the German Helmet Vault website, but that lot number isn't listed there either. Lots of lot numbers aren't in the book or database, it's just because those compiling them haven't come across a helmet with that number yet. If you are willing to post your email address I can send you a pic of the page from the Brian Ice book showing the lot numbers around your helmet's lot number. The book has lots of interesting info for the collector.
According to the Brian Ice German Helmet Lot Number book EF64 M42 3473 is a No Decal helmet. Of course, there can be a lot of different sizes and decal configurations in each lot number group. You need to take it to a dealer to verify whether or not the decal is genuine.
The lot number is 3479, I still haven't been able to find it any databases but if you can please lmk!

I wish i had that many lol
Thank you for your videos sir Greetings from Germany
Legit! Heads up, the instagram link is broken
Thanks man, yeah it got deleted for some reason. Still haven't been able to get it back unfortunately
Good stuff - watched some of your content just now you have some nice items, my channel is far from perfect but would be good if you got more light in the room to help with quality so could see the stuff better. I've been told my audio isn't always great, have got a mic now and getting a new phone in a week or so!
Appreciate it man! Light and picture quality is definitely an issue for me. My phone sucks lol. I will be working to improve it though.
@@FrontlineMemorabiliaWW2 No problem, keep it up! I've just got some cool items like a rough SA dagger, Latvian SS shield, some buckles etc. and DD Heer M35 but waiting to get the new iphone 16 this month as mine is 5 years old now
What's the manufacturer of the helmet? above the lot number - for example Q64 or HKP64 etc? I have to admit I don't think anyone would ever repaint an original SS helmet, so unlikely would be real the the decal is certainly of high quality but need to know manufacturer to be certain.
It is an EF64. Unfortunately, upon further looking I think I was duped into it being an original. The decal has some issues with the corners so I am not 100% certain its real. I didn't pay anything crazy high for it so i'm fine with it tbh, just going to look for a new helmet to replace it with.
@@FrontlineMemorabiliaWW2 Yeah, I would have serious doubts about it being original but that said, it displays well and if you didn't spend a ton on it then that's fine! I've refurbished some helmets, nothing wrong with that. I started off with low end helmets and just worked my way up slowly tbh
would be cool if you showed pictures of how the items looked like back then. Thats cool that you have so many relics!
I will definitely consider doing this in my next video. Thank you!
Thanks for sharing man this is cool
Not a bad start at all. Better start slow and learn while you get into it than. The NSDAP pennant is just a typical jewelry piece from that time.
Those look like they could also by trouser buttons.
It's great that they can ride his wife and tell him what was going on with him I heard you would glad to hear from you and he loves to hear from her as well God bless all our service men and women throughout the world keep them from all harm and bring them home safely
That’s really cool besides the red swatzika symbol flag
very nice buddie
Thank you
Super cool!
Haha first comment 😂
