Brian’s vegeta is so much better and nuanced than Sabats generic struggling edge of voice rendition. Such a shame

Brian’s voice fit the original vegeta design better. As the art style changed and they refined vegetas appearance over the years, it’s hard seeing the latter version of vegeta being voiced by anyone besides Chris. Deep down Brian’s the better actor though

Wait, the Ocean dub finished until the end? I thought it was cut short

I’m just realizing how intense Brian sounds. That’s how they got us hooked. The ocean dub actors could march an army to war. Chris dialed down the intensity a little bit which was probably for the best. Seeing as though Vegita was a homicidal maniac.

Brian brings sheer demonic energy to Vegeta but it’s also hard to picture Brian as the more regal/nuanced Vegeta that Sabat portrays.

Reading on the Internet that Vegeta was gonna get with Bulma mind blowing because he is this little weasel he mustache twirling, alien dude. Such an incongruous match and kind of thing I’ve ever seen in a cartoon. By the time we got there, his voice changed, and he’s overdrawn, not nearly so exciting

Brian plays a better evil Vegeta (including Majin Vegeta). Chris plays a better good Vegeta. Both are awesome.

Drummond is the 1st vegeta I ever heard and for me will always sounds like the original but that somehow works with Vegeta and how much he has changed. He got older and matured, his voice got deeper and he talks about pride even more so Sabat's voice became Vegeta.

script in brians dub is waaaay better but sabats voice just fits vegeta so well, cant imagine him any other way

Brian is the younger more hot headed Vegeta the one who had not yet accepted himself being weaker than Kakarot, Sabat is the Vegeta who has accepted it and can move forward and let go of his pride in that specific case involving Kakarot, allowing him to settle down and relax more giving us the Sabat voice the more relaxed and focused voice of a matured Vegeta.

I dont care for the ocean stuff. Never seen it. The 2nd one is the one i grew up on.

Brian's voice works better for a version of Vegeta that always stayed a villain. There's just too much of a snivelling villain quality to his voice.
