This is what I have been saying all along. The thing is, they say you are just an Old Black Man living in the past. You are a prejudice person, not understanding the big picture. White people will want you to join in the struggles that benefit them, but when we as black folks have a problem or something that is close to our hearts, they don't care and leave us to steep in our sadness until the feeling subsidies. There are so many things we can talk about, but if we do, it is only between us, and nothing comes because of it. Almost like the child in the family who looks at all the siblings constantly receiving new pants, shirts, and sneakers, but you always have to wait till next time, and it never comes. Byron brown is now out of office and the first thing we hear is in south Buffalo twenty five million dollars is now allocated to rebuild the roads and when the news reporter talks to a man living in the effected area, the first thing out of his mouth is, we have been seeing redevelopment taking place here in south Buffalo for a while but the community needs to make sure we are sitting at the table so our concerns are met. Well, look at E.Ferry and Jefferson. The road is the same from 1975. Look at Fillmore Avenue, look at Broadway, look at Genesee st, look at E. Delavan, all they do is speed up the process of destroying our automobile by installing speed bumps. Go out in Williamsville, Cheektowaga, Lancaster, and so on, you don't see them. The Buffalo Fire dept even went to the common council and mentioned that the speed bumps and destroying the fire trucks and slowing wown the response time. The 33 expressway in our community , we have no say in what we need and want to do with it. We need to do what the Indians do , and when they start construction, fill it up with tires tables, couches, refrigerators, construction materials, and set it on fire. Let the news broadcast it across the country so those in Albany can see that we mean business. The government gave $24,400,000,000 to Ukraine. $11,300,000,000 to Israel. $1,950,000,000 to Ethiopia $1,600,000,000 to Jordan. $1,400,000,000 to Egypt $1,100,000,000 to Afghanistan $1,100,000,000 to Somalia. $1,000,000,000 to Yemen. $987,000,000 to Congo $896,000,000 to Syria. If the government can give this kind of money away, why do we need to pay taxes, why dosent every American have free Healthcare? The government is committing extortion on us. They everyday try to figure out how to get into our pockets every day. Setting up traps on the 198 expressway and saying it is for child safety. Yes, a white child, and look what happened. The speed was reduced in a heartbeat. If it had been a black child, it would have been excuses. Well, the child should have been restrained by his parents, and they would have been put in jail. Or the thruway dept would have said they needed to do a study that would have taken a year, only in the hopes the community would have forgotten. This is the world we let them make us live in. And when We the People peacefully ask for what is right, we get the same proverbial answer, we don't have the movey. But when they see a way they can make the white man moner, it flows like a river. Someone needs to fall on the sword so we can turn life around.
