Good evening Griff, my son's 2016 Mustang fastback, has constant passenger window issue like you did where while driving went up and down. The dealer ship for the six to eight time over the last two years have replaced the motor and last November replaced the motor and regulator but only lasted 10 weeks and the issue has returned. Please advise if you applied the electrical grease to all the electrical connections and what else did to stop this annoying issue permanently. I greatly appreciate it, thank you buddy.
Hey man if you don’t mind me asking what part of NC are you in? Saw the license plate and I’ve been following your 3rd gen build

@@gregdibiase889 anything I can do to help?
ALTHOUGH IT SEEMS TO ALREADY RUN DECENTLY ENOUGH ... I STILL WOULD YANK AND REPLACE THAT MEDIOCRE FACTORY TBI THROTTLE BODY CRAP AND THAT FACTORY INTAKE MANIFOLD ... AND BOLT ON AN ALUMINUM LOW RISE EDELBROCK PERFORMER DUAL PLANE INTAKE MANIFOLD ... AND THEN BOLT ON AN EDELBROCK PERFORMER 500 CFM OR 600 CFM VACUUM SECONDARY 4 BARREL CARBURETOR ... OR A 390 CFM OR 600 CFM HOLLEY VACUUM SECONDARY 4 BARREL CARBURETOR. JUST THESE TWO SIMPLE UPGRADES WILL MAKE THE CAR RUN EVEN BETTER AND MORE SATISFYING FOR YOU . ALSO THEN ... DEFINITELY UPGRADE THE EXHAUST WITH AT LEAST A DECENT FLOWMASTER OR WALKER 2 1 / 2 INCH OR 3 INCH PIPE DIAMETER " CAT BACK " REPLACEMENT EXHAUST AND MUFFLER AND TAILPIPES SYSTEM , TO AT LEAST UNRESTRICT THE EXHAUST FROM THE CAT - CONVERTER , ON ... ALSO ... CHECK AND SEE EXACTLY WHAT REAR END GEAR RATIO THE CAR HAS ... AND IF IT ONLY HAS A 3 : 08 , OR 3 : 23 , OR 3 : 42 REAR GEAR ... THEN ITS ACTUALLY A GOOD IDEA TO SWAP THAT HIGHER GEARING OUT FOR LOWER REAR GEARS OF AT LEAST A 3 : 73 REAR GEAR . BUT A 4 : 10 GEAR OR A 4 : 30 GEAR . MIGHT BE EVEN BETTER AND EVEN MORE SATISFYING FOR YOU TO BETTER ENJOY DRIVING THE CAR AND RIPPIN AROUND THE STREETS WITH. EVEN WITH THE FACTORY / STOCK CAMSHAFT..
Thank you for your demonstration of the window mirror motor replacement it was a big help much appreciated ❤
@@vannal8253 you’re welcome. Glad it was helpful
Nice 👌 🎉
Did the 350 tbi swap to carb on the same car problem now is car won’t crank and the fuel pump doesn’t kick on
Damn! A diamond in the rough for $200, nice find!
@@philbrady702 thanks man!
Looks 100% better not bad for 200 nice job
Is this guy mis the boat. Sweating a drum. Maybe one didn't need replaced. I know he found it the missing drum . Wet when it was new it probably looked a lot better
It would have to be a great deal. Cuz it's just a big Vega.
I liked thesed cars those years
First off a junkyard scrap price is at $400-ish in value so don,t lie to us and say ya bought it for $200 🤣 nobody is that stupid ......................now lets watch you repair this car lol
Perfect LS swap car !
You gotta not ride the clutch it'll open a can of warms
want have fun get either decals or air brush and stencile or free hand pin strip kits cooler full cool snacks
its just old sheet metal body not what makes car its memories tunes eats trips flip it or keep it one thing i learn it is what is dont make it what its not to each thier own inside cheap newer car gut it install f factory unless you got lot stuff to make it factory trim all that can be got but some times better to enjoy it
Wow man, your absolutely horrible at driving 5 speed manual 😂😂
@@frankcioffi5122 🤷
So you didn’t have to do any wiring for your fuel pump to stay running when I turn the key it will prime up for a couple seconds then shut off so but I had the same engine and set up as you 88 firebird
I would like too see all this equipment demonstrated
I almost bought one of these back in the day they drive and ride very nice. It would suck if u can't ever get it licensed doesn't make sense that it would have a junk title if it was an estate sale car hmm.
Working on this year vehicle is super simple compared to what we have now. I would love to find something like this for a project car. Parts are still available and that's the best part.
Has some sweet wheels for 200 bucks. What a deal. And I don't even like 3rd gens. I had 2nd gens. I drove in a 3rd gen firebird into our tire shop and it felt and smelled just like my trans ams did. You can definitely have a nice story for your ride. 200 bucks for a whole car. Getting it running good will take some time but it's a sporty car for dirt cheap
I had a 1988 IROC-Z very base model 2 options T-Tops and 305 TPI. I loved that car
Bullshit on the $200.000
I saw a 1973 Mercury Monterey 4 door on Marketplace. One of my all time favorite cars. Unfortunately it was in a house fire (Top half of the car ruined, only the metal and trim is left), the interior's gone and the engine would need lots of work, And of the of course it needs painted (Preferably its original gold color) I love that car so much I'm deeply tempted to make an offer, but the work would be monumental.
Damn me and my kid want that car
Looks good
Nice score, basically you bought a nice set of wheels/tires for $200 and got a car with them.
Score! $200, even if you found something structurally catastrophic, it's still a huge win. Part it out, you can get well over $200 for the wheels alone. T-Tops, interior parts lenses, etc. very cool
This is what i drove every day from 1995 to 2001, 5 speed V6, 2.8 liter MPFI, it screamed. It sold on Ebay when i liquidated it before moving to CA, just before 9/11, perfect timing. At one point I was having trouble with my battery and I had a 3 hour drive home, when on a business trip. When i went to get gas, I had to find a station with a slight downhill from the pump so i could bump start it, best ot just not shut it off in the first place. I dont remember it was 25 years ago. My wife never drove the thing cause she couldnt handle a manual. Turns out she could handle men just fine. Wish the car was here and not her.
How do you remove the base , mine is stuck it won’t come off
Why am I never this lucky
That big port at the back hooks to the PCV valve. Although I know it’s an old video
i just changed it, took me 10 min to replace it. Do not take out the window. when you take the panel out, the motor is hold up by 3 10mm nuts, take those out, take the speaker out. Take the window mount where you can access the 3rd screw, and take 3 screws that hold the motor to the motor mount. pay attention how it was installed, the angle. Put the new one back, screw 3 screws that holds the motor to the mount, put back the motor mount back and put back 3 nuts back and a speaker. reinstall the panel and you are done. I would recommend though putting dialectic grease in the motor plug,
Awesome find.
Have you done a heater core on your car?

@@Businessecomm.Ai1 thanks!
hay if you sell the outter passager headlight bezel on that 1962 ford i buy it i in need of one
Omg 😳 that’s an absolute steal for $200 hundred bucks WOW it’s worth more than that in the weight of it but don’t do that because you can make thousands off of it if you get it running and driving this guy is not all there to let it go for practically nothing jeeeezzzz I would actually get it driving and keep it I currently have two Camaro’s now that iv put 10’s of thousands into they are nearly mint condition and bad ass 👍
What belt did you end up with? On my '92 4.9L with A/C the standard 98" belt is now too short. Understandable given the alternator pulley is in a different position now with the 130amp alternator. The belt you showed in the video (6K1005) had a note that it was too long. That belt from Napa has an effective length of 100.54 inches. I cannot find anything between 98-100 inches. So... What belt did you end up using??? You didn't note that.
1 min in. I'm hoping to get it done today.. I'll say put the tools down. I'll comment at the end. My hopes are not hi
How much more power are you making
I have the same Jeep except mine is a 1995 I think they are cool jeeps simple to work on I replaced my front roaders and the rubber brake lines I also changed all the Fluids in all def ,Tran and TF case never know if someone drove it is A lake lol I'm thinking about camouflaging mine I'm starting to like my square lights I had a dodge 4x4 that i painted camo and what's nice about it is it covers a lot of body issues and you can touch it up easy Just my thoughts have fun with it
@@deandye3255 yea sometime when we get some nice weather again I need to change all the drive line fluids. I’d be surprised if they’re not contaminated and/or low.
The brake parts in the back cost more than 200 bucks lol
I need help with mine lol it ran great. Now it seems as if the fuel pressure drops out the blue and my pump is new
@@ornsod1 hey bud. Could be fuel filter or something else.
