20th Century Boy | T Rex Dance Floor Filler
On 20th Century Boy by T Rex, founder Marc Bolan hit gold with a another stellar riff. This one calls to everyone and is a dance floor filler.
Bolan never hid his desire to be a star, luckily for him he had the talent for writing sexy rock hits.

Gimme Shelter | What's It About
มุมมอง 5302 หลายเดือนก่อน
Gimme Shelter a song about "a threat to my very life today", in the words of its composer Keith Richards. But what is it really about, what did that mean in terms of Keith's life? How was the song written and recorded? And why does it resonate 55 years after its release? In this video I share how Gimme Shelter was created using Keith Richards' own words. Digging deeper into the emotions and cha...

Wow. You're not kidding. Thank you for posting.
This is an incredible mastery of guitar by Mick Taylor, wrapped in a classic Stones riff. A heavenly combination that alas only comprised about 10% of the lifespan of this band. How much more should there have been... sigh...
too fast, takes the evil out of it.
When environmental catastrophe leads to the total collapse of social order and everything descends into Hobbesian anarchy.
Good, but definitely not the best...
Badass. My life's soundtrack.
Saludos para todos desde la ciudad de México y comento que Brian Jones fue el genio fundador de este grupazo Era innovador, multi instrumentista y un gran músico
The editing is so goofy lmao (in a good way)
Charlie Watts with the David Bowie look.
is this a band who remembers/cares/respects Brian Jones? lol I doubt it
The Mick Taylor years were the best.
単純で名曲!!!
A simple and great song!!! (Auto-translation)

~~ in the late 60's when Brian Jones was imploding - he was still a good guitarist and a fine multi-instrumentalist - and he had a special talent for adding unique touches to songs that made them stand out - but when Mick Taylor came along - the Stones had a true lead guitar hero in their line-up - and they never should have let him go ..
❤
Correct description the best version soo Correct it' is mick Taylor has that awesome Guitarist nice sound it's magic moment right there perfect performance 💯⭐️🥰🌟
Kinda Sounds like BANJO !??
been listening to great music all my life, songs don't get much better than this.
That riff is unbelievably stirring. I've always loved it!!!
Whoa - another dimension version. Hendrix vibe in every lickz
indeed well, as good if not superior was right after it was released, less rushed, also at this venue, fall 1969 --- as raw and fearful a time as now, believe me not sure there is a recording of that philly concert online, which ended with this, everyone levitated from their seats sorry, dupe !!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤Danke für. Diesen tollen Song 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂❤❤❤
Best version - I was sceptical and then without Lisa Fisher. But indeed, Mick's guitar solos are incredibly impulsive and give the whole thing a special energy.
The studio version is much better-
Great, fantastic super song and hit with the brilliant founder and leader Brian Jones!!! That’s MUSIC!!! 👍👍👍
Without Brian, they'd have never got off the ground, and Without Mick Taylor, they'd never have sustained a career. They still play his songs.
Well, this is an accurate title. Nothing like the Stones with Mick Taylor from '69 to '72.
If that was Brian's riff, then it is criminal that those other 2 jerks didn't give him partial writing credit.
Keith, as far as I know, said in 1965 the riff was Brian's. A sad state of affairs. The riff makes the song and it predates their reputation as a riff based band.
Just Mick Taylor doing what Mick Taylor does best.
Before the end
Originally sung by Walter Brown in 1941 who co-wrote the song with Jay McShann. Little Walter, real name Jacobs, also covered it. This is a perfect example of Brian Jones' vision of turning blues classics into his new Rhythm 'n Blues which would sweep England from 1962-1966 with bands like the Stones and the Yardbirds, and beyond with bands like Cream and even Hendrix.
Nice song... Legend

Who is Keef without Chuck? Some English dude who didn't know about open G tuning...
😂
Wow!!! They bottled him on the studio recordings to their own detriment. This guy Mick Taylor is an all-time great, if I am to judge by this performance.
The sound system is kickin much respect soundman 🎼🎵🎹🎵🎵🎵🎵🎵🇺🇸🇺🇸🙏
Brain Jones die Nr. 1 der Rolling Stones. Genauso Charlie Watts. Ohne die zwei Großen sind die Rolling Stones nur Ausschuss. Spielen nur noch die alten Lieder und verdienen sich dumm und dämlich damit. Manu, war Brain Jones ein schöner Mann 😍.
I have a harmonica rack that belonged to Jimmy Reed. A fan/friend gave it to me in the early '90s. Reed played in London in the '60s, my friend went to see him, Reed (who was an alcoholic) forgot the rack on stage, nobody picked it up and so my friend did. He didn't play harmonica hence one day he gave it to me since I play harmonica on the rack... I told him I couldn't accept such a historical memento, but he insisted. I got it cleaned and I still use it to this very day. Btw, great video, thanks for uploading this! 🙂
That's really cool. Funny how things turn out. Thanks for checking us out.
Brian Jones is my favorite member. God bless you my teacher Brian Jones 🙏💞
Saw them in Peterborough Ontario Canada in the 90s
