Why 20 Grams of Olive Oil Could Be a Daily Health Habit
In this episode of Daily Value, we look at how extra virgin olive oil and its polyphenols-including hydroxytyrosol-could impact your health and longevity. Referencing evidence from the Moli-Sani Study and other meta-analyses (PMID: 38704428), we uncover how these bioactives are suggested to reduce risks for cancer, cardiovascular disease, and all-cause mortality.
Discussion Points:
-Bioactive Compounds: How hydroxytyrosol prevents LDL oxidation and reduces inflammation, key mechanisms for cardiovascular protection.
-Landmark Studies: The Moli-Sani cohort found a 28% reduction in cancer deaths with a certain threshold of olive oil, while meta-analyses confirm a 16% lower cardiovascular risk with similar amounts of olive oil.
-Practical Takeaways: Why cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil is essential for these benefits and how just 3 tablespoons daily could support health outcomes.

@@christopherwhittaker2620 oh, so you didn't actually watch the video?
Maybe one cannot take seriously info from someone addicted to tattoos
@@PatriceBoivin addicted is a strong word. By definition, not appropriate here.
And piercings. Can't believe he's a pukka Doctor.
@@PatriceBoivin I can't take people seriously who judge others on superficial shit. It tells me they're not of substance and can't see beyond their own ego 😘
Thanks so much for sharing this info!!
I wonder if supplements works as well as the tea? Or just taking egcg?
Pretty awesome hearing the studies on green tea. I find that I get cognitive benefits plus overall feel better when I drink it.
I notice an immediate full body boost with green tea. Sometimes, the acid is too much
Love these daily videos
i told my dr i was taking berberine, she had to look it up. she also thinks vitamins/supplements create expensive urine. i’m proud to say my urine is worth a lot.
A very good topic, love reading about it. Can you specify if there are any beneficial differences between caffeinated and decaf? Have the findings shown significant differences ?
I'm curious about the same effects compared to green tea? I don't drink coffee...don't like the taste but I enjoy drinking green tea.
🎉
I really appreciate that this video isn’t too long. Thank you for the valuable info. I’m not on a carnivore diet but I think this info is still important to know. Thank you so much!
So carnivore diet is good for the brain, meats full of b vitamins and fat on meat balances hormones.

Hi Dr. William, thank you for your share. Maybe it would be easier for people to understand if your explanation is accompanied by some diagrams. This is my suggestion.
Great summary thanks. Looking forward to the future human clinical trials ...
B12 is water soluble and excessive urinating may deplete B12 often connected to excessive caffeine - coffee, tea, beer, alcohol, sugar, etc. White rice and white flour and sugary fruit may deplete B vitamins. Obviously -- liver is one of the best sources for B vitamins and benfotiamine is fat soluble B1. CoQ10 + magnesium + taurine may act synergistically with B12 supplements Glutamine and bone broth and glycine and meat broth may help heal the gut which may assist. Stomach acid should be improved with betaine hcl. Mega dose vit D plus k2mk7 Muscle injections of B 12 may be helpful ---- good idea!
Thank you for this great info.
Very informative thank you doctor. 3+ years ago i took 50000 iu of vitamin D3 7 times in 4 months (350000 iu in 4 months), i did it during covid i hadn't gotten sick since, but now i stopped since, is there any concerns?
Spidey, yes, the strength & volume of your web will be severely reduced. Take it easy out there. 😊
50 mg Benfotiamine + 150 mg Thiamine in one capsule, Is it enough for a day with 200 mg NA-R-ALA ?
This was extremely insightful.
Thanks doc 👍
thanks for this, my muscles are in so much pain after resistance training, I always need to take more iron!
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge💜
My B1 test showed high 274. Is this an issue? Reference Range: 78-185 nmol/L
From my research best supplements for TBI : CBD/CBG, NAC, OMEGA3, PROBIOTICS, , vit d3, zinc, selenium, magnesium, amino acids carnitine, arginine, ashwagandha, glutamine etc.. Of course individual approach is important.
Thanks doc
