My new favorite song. Randomly heard it on Apple Music in a recent road trip. Not gonna lie, I did see “Featuring Chris Stapleton” in the song text which grabbed my curiosity and stopped me from skipping unfamiliar music. Short attention span issues. Joy’s voice is so unique. I’m glad I listened to the entire song. But the second Chris starts to sing, immediate goose bumps. This absolutely doesn’t discount her artistry BUT it definitely helps when you have Stapleton magic come in.

This might be a breakup song. But to me it represents the hardest times in my marriage that we pushed through against all odds. Couple times we thought it was over and were both heart broken. Weve always been in love. 22 yrs now. 20 of those married. But life has been so unfair and weve had so much thrown at us. We remain together. Steadfast and in love still, past the hardest parts and thriving finally. But this song reminds me of the hard times and the fact that we loved eachother so much we suffered for eachother and it paid off in an everlasting trust and love. Thanks for this song and its beauty. Wild Rivers i love your album.

A terrorist attack, consisting of a mass shooting and an attempted bombing, occurred at the Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino, California, United States. The perpetrators, Syed Rizwan Farook and Tashfeen Malik, a married couple living in the city of Redlands, targeted a San Bernardino County Department of Public Health training event and Christmas party of about 80 employees in a rented banquet room. Fourteen people were killed and 22 others were seriously injured. Farook was a Muslim and an American born citizen of Pakistani descent, who worked as a health department employee. Malik was a Muslim and Pakistani-born green card holder. After the shooting, the couple fled in a rented Ford Expedition SUV. Four hours later, police pursued their vehicle and killed them in a shootout, which also left two officers injured. Protect American lives or hurt some people's feelings? Hard choice, right?!
