Recently I tested the camera's natural light abilities: white balance, exposure blow outs, smoothness using one dive with the whale sharks of Oslob, Philippines. This video was shot from September 25, 2024 for 8 days in Cebu Philippines. I used zero color correction. Some shots used zero lighting, some had some video lighting. The DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro is an amazing camera straight out of the box. On the whale shark videos, no housing was used. The camera is waterproof to 60 feet, I had no issues.

This was the best dive site ever for me! This video was shot over 4.5 days (10 dives). It's alot of travel especially during the corona virus outbreak, but definitely worth it. It took 22 hours flight time there and 19 hours back home, I would laugh at people doing this for 10 dives, but it's not the volume of dives, it's the quality.
