The song is about a man having an argument/disagreement/discussion with his penis. "Choke this infant here before me. What are you but my reflection?" - a man's "member is often thought of, euphemistically, as a man's, "mini me" or "infant reflection." Also, the phrase, "choke the chicken," is commonly used in reference to masterbation. I'm not going to go through all of the remaining lyrics, but they do support my hypothesis with some pretty basic interpretation. "Staring down into that hole again," and "bang my head upon the fault line" - should be pretty easy to see where I'm coming from right? lol Also - the version of, "Pushit," found on their "Salival" album is PHENOMENAL! Truly phenomenal. Spiral out, keep going.

Yes it is song of a man's love of his freedom in driving his car. In 1972, when the song was made, cars in the US could still legally drive in some areas at speeds of 75mph (120kph) and were designed to go up to 120mph (192kph), if you were not worried about police arresting you for speeding. The "muscle cars" were even better made with powerful acceleration as well.
