Great Video, Chris!
Hey bud! Fantastic work. She’s coming along nicely. Tell max hi for me.
Thank you for a lovely video of Chacala! I am headed there with a group of dancers in two days. This video really gave me a feel for the place and I was able to see what kind of footwear people were wearing and what kind of food I will be eating. All very helpful. Thanks again!
Sign me up for one of those beach front homes!
Be careful on turtle island sonora, the series indiands. Not allowd crew in their seas😮
sailing is almost too complicated... the most fun i ever had was always the least ambitious sailing i did. i'm too old, poor, and computer illiterate to venture out now. but it would be coastal stuff like dinghy cruising. have fun!
You sir, are pathetic. Where did you sail to? You never mentioned. Most people tell where they are leaving from, i think you said San Carlos, then you crossed the sea to where? Crickets. And the sea state where you were made you sick? I crossed the sea numerous times in my ten years there and never had a sea state that made me sick. Oh yeah, rough at times but sick?
Hey Chris is that you?
Yes it is
A few ? please. What year is the sv. Does it have a cored & moulded deck. Did some of the teak get painted, and how much did you purchase for. ( I'm looking to buy the same Alberg, It's a 1968. ) Thanks.
She's a '69. Decks are cored and held up very well in the dry Sonora weather, so keep that in mind. Yes, previous owner painted all the teak. Not sure what I'm going to do about that.
@@turquoise_journey As for the painted teak, I've had the most success with an adjustable temp heat gun and a good variety of scrapers, both dull & sharp edge.
Beautiful! Surprising nobody else is there.
Even when there's a half dozen boats in the bay, I rarely see people hiking out here
Love this Video!! You showed everything. Chacala is on my list. The only thing is..the state of Nayarite has a bad reputation for the Cartel activity. It is located in a prime location for drug traffic. Did you see any suspicious activity or feel unsafe? Im a single women and dont want to go or live anywhere that is risky. I know bad things can happen anywhere in the world but the high risk areas are not for a single women or any foreigners. Just curious..are you living along the Pacific Coast of Mexico? I subscribed because you show less populated and less known places. Keep them coming. Thanks. Oh and BTW I liked your personal dog tour guide. LOL
Omg food looks delicious I was at Buzerias in October q didn’t like it . There looks cool . Saludos de Arizona.
We were there for a week in April. It was CRAZY on the weekend with Mexican families -so fun! I remember the streets with the cobblestone being a pain to walk on (I was recovering from a sprained ankle. Chacala is a great place to do absolutely nothing except go to the beach and eat seafood. I remember that "plaza" being just a small space between two of the beach facing restaurants.
Se ve hermoso ❤ quiero conocer 😅😊
HOLA AMIGO CONOZCO ESE HOTEL 9:43 , SI NECESITAS INFORMACION PUEDES PREGUNTARME :)
Im an Aussie and thinking seriously about purchasing an Alberg 37. Any bg issues you’ve come across?
Nothing major, just deferred maintenance. I was next to another 37 earlier this year, a MK Ii, that needed the knees rebedded
Awesome, want to get mine in the water too, not many vids on the A37 s
Hermosos paisajes que lindo nuestro México!!!👍🦜🌻🌾🌺😍
Congratulations I just looked at a Alberg 30
Congratulations cousin! I hope I will see her in real one day ❤️ Luc
good job launching! glad u didn't hit any other boats!
very nice, I have a mk11 but, I like the mk1 with the 5 port windows, and the wood floor, beautifull boats the Albergs
Wonderful! Loved the tour. How does the fridge get power?
There are two 12v AGM battery banks charged by a trio of small solar panels. The fridge only draws 4.5 amps so it will keep running during a couple of cloudy days.
Love Sunnyside and Laguna Beach. Beautiful and peaceful.
