I reacted to thier acceleration in aticipation. They had 2 choices. Knowing full well they had better accelleration they could have moved aligned to my defense and still (most probably been in front by the apex), because of what I've learn't from Karting, you can only move once to defend. I was aware that they had better acceleration, I had no intention of running them off the track. They instead of anticipating my defence they just assumed I was going to sit there and let them breeze by. I have plenty examples of defending in the same manner as above and not end off the track. The car behind had choice and they chose to punt instead of racing hard.

@@VaderMonkeyGaming They did anticipate your defense but there comes a point where he clearly overlaps you as you continue to close the door, unfortunately as soon as you overlap like that at speed you have to give some space not because "he thinks he can breeze past" but because of self preservation

I used to do a lot of Karting when I was younger, and its a habit from doing the occaisional track day. The rest is just hoping that I make the corners HAHAHAHA

Other than breaking my chair my (personal) ballast keeps me stuck to the corners HAHAHA

@@VaderMonkeyGaming best bit of advice I ever received was, "Get the damned ideal line off"!

I have it on for the braking points, I'm quite confident regarding racelines. I just struggle with my braking points. However, #Raceroom need to do an average brake marker update without the ideal line on show. I've been other servers where they deactivate the ideal line option and I've struggled (on some tracks) to slow the cars I've driven at the right point. Yes it's a me issue, but I have no ambition of being a premium #simracer.

@@big203jay Same here. I've never missed an F1 race since the age of 8 years old. I don't just love the racing I love the technology, the tactics, as well as the engineering and how its developed, certainly over the years I've been enjoying the sport.

@@VaderMonkeyGaming yess that's what I try to tell people. For me it just isn't racing. It's, strategy, reliability factors and much more

@@big203jay Exactly. End of the day the winning team is about the package, execution & understanding of the current ruleset. That along with an able team, driver pairing and competent strategic decision making. Too many people complain when a team becomes almost dominant. But this year is going to be an exciting year. On the face of things there maybe 2 teams leading the way but I believe Ferrari & Mclaren may add some spice to the season also.
