The ones without the mouthpiece allow you to change your lip placement and alter the sound coming out. Also smaller ones are higher in pitch, easier to use, and you can blow on them longer. The larger the whistle the faster you run out of air.

hey, i was wondering, how did you managed to pierce the notes correctly? ive seen tutorials on how to make the music box but not the actual paper strips, and i cant seem to find how to correctly make the notes, because i want to make some persona and kingdom hearts arrangements but all i can find are piano or guitar sheets, could you help me?
Jan Alighieri I have an app that you make the strips and then transpose the punches onto The papers. It's convenient. Wish I was just a bucket of musical knowledge but I need apps. Lol
