@jamil do you actually own or have you built affordable housing? These properties are typically deed restricted and you’re only able to earn a developer fee when you you build or develop and then a management fee monthly. Affordable housing is not designed or created to make investors rich. I used to consult with an affordable developer and they essentially functioned as a nonprofit. This video is somewhat misleading.

I’m confused about the part about people not wanting to sell their properties. How does this contribute to a shortage? If people sell, then they will need to live somewhere else, so when that person sells they will also buy a house. Therefore, there should not be any changes in housing for people that don’t sell or do sell, because they will buy another house, so it will be a wash.
Inflation is healthy. It lowers the cost of salaries in real terms and keeps people motivated to work hard while asset prices go up.
Key point: she owns the management company with all of their resources.
You two make this seem like a really easy way to make money. Can it work? Yes, but it isn't passive and it isn't as profitable for most people as you make out. My experience is that even professionals do significant damage to your furnishings, kitchen and laundry. Bedroom damage can be significant. My Sealy mattresses are $600 with bulk purchase. Used bedroom set is another $500. Area rug $80. Bedbug cover on bed $25. Mattress pad $30; comforter $40. Sheet set $40. Pillows $15. This doesn't even cover cleaning, painting, blackout curtains, etc. One renter with bad hygiene ruined all of these so that the smell didn't come out of anything. To be fair, most people won't ruin everything, but to say that they won't do damage to the commons area is just untrue.
I love how he just says, "over the last 4 years" like there wasn't any orchestrated situation going on that drove prices into the stratosphere. Jamil, if you see Pace and Laura, tell them I said Whatsup!
Rich get Richer because they own assets poor get poorer because they only hold inflated fiat money and maybe 1-2 assets being their house. assets like homes raise in value because of inflation and supply and demand watch people like Robert Kiyosaki he talks a lot about it
Don't simply retire from something; have something to retire to. Start saving, keep saving, and stick to investments. Building wealth involves establishing routines, like consistently setting aside funds at regular intervals for smart investments

Some persons think inves'tin is all about buying stocks; I think going into the stock market without a good experience is a big risk, that's why I'm lucky to have seen someone like mr Robert L Cox.

I need help I talked to an agent for land that was priced at $30k then $22k, but I gave him an offer of $15k and told him he would representing me, then he sent me limited agency agreement, PSA to sign, but I have to sign the documents he sent for him to represent my offer.
Jamil I'm grateful for doing the Sunday Mindst and sharing your story. Trauma bonding is real and we don't see it with our own families because of the love we have for them. Sometimes we need to break those contracts we made with them to help ourselves and also them possibly. I think then we can have a deeper understanding free will and respect it as a form of finding healing even if it leads to suffering first.

There should be a class action lawsuit filed against Zillow. They have been boosting prices for a long time now and for no good reason. I had a property with a zestimate that, after i listed and had the open house, we fielded offers right after the OH for right around what i thought we would get. The day after the OH, the zestimate shot up 90k and a buyer submitted an offer 10k over the zestimate, waiving appraisal and inspection. Obviously the seller accelted that. Had zillow not jacked up the zestimate 90k we would have never gotten that offer. Now, the house i sold is a comp that is goong to justify the value for future listed properties. And zillow jacked that zestimate up for no good reason. There wre no recent sales to support it. In fact, i had a friend say that their zestimate shor up at that same time. Zillow has an incredible influence on the markets prices because the buying public thinks its the holy grail. I have evidence of this price increase as well. It aint just agents and greddy sellers, a HUGE. factor is the zillow, probably the leading cause of increasing values. It's disgusting.
