Purigen is truly epic. Some friends said chuck it after being bought and I was so upset. But having a 30-p with naturally collected wood that leaches tons of tannins, Purigen clears it up within a day!

Those are the most incredible salt water tanks I’ve ever seen. Usually you never see plants, just corals. It’s gorgeous.

I've always thought pipefish or similar seahorse would go good with macro algae tanks.

I remember going through old forums when i had this idea just to get a glimpse of what it can look like. I ran acrossed a some good tanks.

Seachem purigen is just synthetic charcoal. Use charcoal, it does the exact same thing for a fraction of the price.

I’ve found it’s also very helpful to make sure the fish aren’t plotting an escape and messing with your filtration. It does happen, watch the documentary Nemo if you don’t believe me.
