I still can't figure out why this is happening. I've scavenged the internet looking for answers, but nothing. I use a 4080 super and a Ryzen 7 7800x3d, so theres absolutely no way it's a low vram issue or a problem with my card. I have no idea what's going on here.

@@Noxatiksame gpu and cpu here, also having same issue. So annoying. Did you ever find a fix or workaround?

@MrSicnarf23 I didn't find a work around, however I did find the culprit. The reason for the texture bugs is poor optimization. In BOCW, especially, textures bug out on PC because of how poorly optimized the game was. Call of Duty games are notorious for poor optimization. Without the distant optimization (how the textures become low quality in the distance), the game would be laggy as all hell. As kind of a way to test this, up your render resolution to 200. You'll see how laggy the game is, and as well how improved the textures in the distance are. Basically, it's not your hardware. I've learned to blame games and apps over my hardware.

@@Noxatik Yep, I figured it was that. This game is probably my 3rd favorite zombies title right after BO1 and 2. The last game that had any amount of effort put into the optimization was Black Ops 3. I really wish people would stop buying yearly COD releases and lining Activision's pockets and complain more about this stuff because this game is YEARS old now and some of the most up to date hardware can barely run it.

​@lotion5238 Totally agree with you about BOCWs rank in your favorite COD titles, and especially about how little effort is put forward into zombies these days. Zombies used to be a massively known portion of the Call of Duty franchise. It was a part of the game that players were dying to continue playing. I haven't felt that kind of hope for a title since at least BO3. BOCW really brought me back, though. I played first on PS, and later switched to PC. The game really fell short on PC and wasn't as well optimized as console. It's shameful how little effort the devs put into optimizing their titles on PC. It feels like every zombies release gets more and more distant from the glory days. I often wonder where zombies would be if it wasn't for warzone.

Yea I’m on Xbox and the same thing happens your not alone the game is just poorly optimized on everything
