If you lift the truck from the rear axle then lay the frame on some jack stand and keep the jack under the axle and use it to lift and lower the rear end it would be the safest way in my opinion

For anyone who wants to know the actual drop, never measure from the ground up. Concrete grade isn't perfectly flat. Instead measure from a fixed location on your axle to wheel well lip, the absolute fixed location will be the bottom lip of your rim to wheel well lip. That will be the most accurate before and after measurement

And get the side view mirrors with the chrome insert

Put some carpet in there bro… then go to the junkyard and get a leather steering wheel

I ran 315s for years on last truck. 315 70 17 And 35×12.5 r17 Did the NorCal front bumper and fender mod with a 3 inch lift.

Once you get cutting, your wiper reservoir might be a contact point. Don't cut it. Lol. A $99 leveling kit on amazon (some shock spacers and front keys) gives you just enough height to fit these with a tad of inner fender rub if I'm not mistaken. Instead of using the rear spacers in that kit, i used HD coil springs off ebay for the rear (gave about a 2 inch lift) I think they were also like $100. I fit 285 no problem and don't rub when i go offroad. 315s rub a tad. All my stuff is on a 02 suburban with z55 suspension. I dont think that truck is much different. Just make sure you have rear coils. Not leafs. Also, dont hammer on the lugs that much. 100 -140 ft lbs depending on the year. Replacing lugs and studs isnt fun and after so many not breaking, that torque wrench becomes free. Also, my rims only have about a -1" offset from stock so they sit kind of flush with the body. Stock rims or those ridiculous ones that poke way out have different clearance issues.

Usually people cut the front smetomes even the chrome bumper i would make sure your driver side is fastened up better and it looks like the pasenger side is push back toward the tire from a front end impact but even that size no rubbing it would rub on turns bumps etc
