My channel is about discovering the lesser-known historical places of Colorado history. If you also like old cemeteries of Colorado I also frequent those places. If you enjoy Colorado history this is the channel for you. I am your man, George Sawtooth!
A Short Stroll Through Old Downtown Johnstown, CO
Dr. Jones in 1920 came and opened his office in the Eureka Building. He called Johnstown "God's spot!" This is Johnstown's most beautiful building, and I am so happy it still stands!!!

Marian's 4th talk here in Colorado. Marian speaks about her father who lost his life on United Flight 629 on November 1, 1955. We are all here in this life fumbling toward ecstasy, and the light at end of the tunnel is Jesus. In my opinion, Jesus is at the heart of every religion because every religion has truth; Jesus is that truth, so he is inherent everywhere and in every religion. Celebrate...

I love Colorado. I lived in Colorado Springs and worked in Manitou Springs. I use to go to Victor and Cripple Creek. I loved living out there and miss it so. 😊
That is a beautiful area!
Beautiful place! Thank you!
I appreciate your comment, but please watch again because you watched before the 4K video was done processing! I truly appreciate your support!!!
Hey George, I dare you to go down in that root cellar.
You first....that way you can knock down the spiders in their webs for me.
I was there once with my mom, we wanted to go walk around the cemetery but it seemed to be on private property. Anyway, thank you for this video.
Thank you for your comment and I appreciate your support! I tried to look for the cemetery, but I could not find it. One reason is that my friend, Rick Tittlemouse and I were talking, so we may have missed it. Rick can't walk very well so we had to head home soon after this video. There was a fire in 2009 that destroyed most of the buildings including the school on the hill. My goal is to get as many old structures as possible on video before they disappear forever.
How sad, before my time, but with any death involving children is horrendous. Great video. Stay safe, & blessings to you from Alaska.
George, I love to see your historical videos. It is obvious that you do thorough research, and really care to do each one well. Blessings to you, brother.
Many thanks! Phil!
Very surprised that I don't remember hearing about this. I turned 8 two days later, and lived near Brighton, so this would've been local news, and I was the same age as a few of these children. So very sad. I DO remember it was extrely cold that whole winter, and the 2 block walk to the bus stop was miserable. We had to cross tracks as well, but it wasn't a main line.
I always thought this incident was closer to town in Evans. It was actually a few miles east of Evans. The cold I believe did play a part in this unnecessary accident. It is always great to get a comment from another Colorado resident so thank you for commenting!
How horrible. Can’t imagine the grief of the parents, especially the Brantners. Thanks for the interesting video, George! Appear on camera sometime. 😊
This story breaks my heart. Thank you for commenting. I am always honored to get a comment from History Hunters! The road was redirected to parallel the railroad tracks because the Brantners donated the land, so they played such an important part after this horrific event.
What's weird is that I had just visited the Auburn Bus Tragedy Memorial decorated with toys for the 20 children who were the victims of this unnecessary accident. I noticed that a My Little Pony toy was among the decorations. My daughter Melody loved My Little Pony. It's kind of a mysterious coincidence that I saw this baby horse and I called this video its name dedicated to my daughter. Maybe I dedicated it to the little girls (and boys) from Auburn too!!! Life is really a mysterious and divine link to everyone dead and alive, to the universe, and ultimately to the everlasting arms of the Creator.
What a neat little house on the prairie. With that hawk squaking like that, it means one of 2 things. Either you're too close to its nest, or there's a snake close by and it's warning you. Thank you for the cool video.
Cool. I bet you are correct!

Woww i love the place like that ...very quiet
Yes quiet and simple beauty! Thank you for your comment!
Nice presentation Mr. Sawtooth. It's evident that many beloved pets are remembered by their owners in this solemn place of rest.
Thank you. It is a very beautiful and solemn place. It just needs a tad bit more loving care after all these years.
Ows
Oh would love to live in something like this, with no neighbors, just me, my animals & the open land of wildlife. Thank you for sharing, stay safe & blessed.
Considering the current interest in weathered wood that these bldgs haven't been stripped of their siding.
I agree. Plus a couple of years ago the price of wood was ridiculous! Maybe the ghosts protect these old treasures.
I.prefer to live in the country rather than the city cos I don't like the noise and caos in the city.
I agree completely. If all hell breaks loose someday, the country is the place to be!
👍 some commentary, or it wouldn't be a sawtooth production.... keep going
Thank you!
The first one looks to be an Oliver Superior grain drill. The other two, I believe, are some old school hay rakes!
I believe you are correct! I appreciate your knowledge!
No music needed. Crickets and the wind. What else do you need? Do you research the stories of the old homesteads?
Sometimes but I mostly go out and find gems to just video. Abandoned places like this one, the information is in the archives and not online. I have a full time job so going and sifting through old archives would take too much time which I don't have. My Bobby Bizup video I took time to research because his story is so mysterious. Thank you for commenting.
Thank you for posting such cool videos!!

Interesting
Sad it said a pioneer building yet, the USA can not keep it up. Yet they can send trillions to other countries & give billions to illegals, but can not or will not support their own. Vote those democrats out. BTW I'm a new subscriber, thank you for sharing these video's, & thank you for not playing music in the back ground. Stay safe.
I do play music in some, and for that I apologize to you. I appreciate your comment, and I agree with your comment!
@@georgesawtooth I haven't went through all your video's yet. Did enjoy this one, with no music. The music to me, is the sounds of the wind & the outdoor life. Stay blessed.
@@1M005E1 Thank you! Keep rolling on my friend!
Our Lord sure did make beautiful scenary. Whoever made that building, did a wonderful job, the wood on the inside is gorgeous. Only thing missing is some trees to give shade for summer, & protect the building in the winter.
I agree. The woodwork is amazing.

What a neat little find. Love the architecture and the design inside almost looks like Aussie farms here
If you ever want to do collaboration, I know of a wonderful old house on the eastern Colorado prairie! Otherwise, I appreciate your comment!
@georgesawtooth definitely would mate. Me and my best friends who also do Urbex are planning to come in your summer in 2025. So I will keep you updated 😃
😂 Is it poisonous, or just a 🕷️ ?
Not poisonous at all. Just creepy and crawly!!!
It collapsed from a lack of love
Just like humans! And pets! You are right we all need love...even homes.
Prairie is prettier in natural grasses
It has been so hot and dry this summer that all the native grasses have dried up. Plus Colorado has been inundated with grasshoppers which have eaten everything they can. My garden has been decimated by the heat and the grasshoppers.
I like your content of your vlog
Thank you very much!

Can you show us how life is in the small Prairie towns of eastern CO and western KS? So many intriguing place names!
I am visiting far eastern CO soon. I grew up in Fort Morgan, CO on a dairy farm. More eastern CO videos to come!!!
Can we have an update on the kittens and their mother, please?
The gentleman who works for CDOT has taken the kittens to a local animal shelter. The mama cat is too wild to catch. She finds food and water at a nearby farm. So all are okay!
Super nice exploration! Hope those kittens are doing well in that brutal heat. Update us!
