Oh boy, that's sad to hear - but yeah, I get it. Sometimes these things have a way to get out of hand. I hope the move will work out fine for you and the family. I've really enjoyed watching along on the sideline on all of these creative endeavours, where you've thoroughly impressed me with everything you've put up, and I've also enjoyed being able to ask questions and have you answer in a most generous way every time. Now, did I hear you correctly in saying that this will stay up for a while more? Does that mean you intend to eventually close the channel and take the videos down? If so, that'd be very sad, as I mentally bookmarked your videos as inspiration to turn back to over time, as soon as I have a bit of time on my own hands to play around with some of this stuff. Ultimately, your decision of course, but I for one would love to have the published material stay up here. Ah man, I'm sorry to see you go, but I fully understand. To be honest, I gave a lot of thought awhile back into making my oen channel, much like yours, but hesitated primarily for the reason you stated. A fear of it not really taking off, coupled with if it did take off, you would have to divulge a LOT of time to the channel, and I feared that if it got to that level, the hobby which I've grown to love so much would turn more into a job, and I would lose a bit of passion for it. If its any consolation, I learned some good lessons from you, and likely wouldn't be staring at this huge, 3D Heroquest board right now, if not for you. You seem like a really cool, and genuine human being, and to be honest, I wish I could've met you in person. At the very least, I'll wish you well on your future endeavors.

David!!! it breaks my heart to see you move on! I get it though. I wish more people could have experienced your channel. it was, in my opinion, one of the best places to go for inspiration and help. I'm still working on my hero quest board off and on. it was your channel that started me on that road, which had never been down. I hope you are looking forward to a new place that will bless your family.

Also, I appreciate the change and your decision, but perhaps had you uploaded a bit more, like all your love MCP stuff, then you would have gained more traction from two demographics, wargamers and marvel fans. I wish you well either way.

Indeed very sorry to hear but also very understandable. I personally will miss seeing your pics with what creative things you are doing like the recent adventure into cos clay. So like others have said if you get the itch to share something again do hesitate to share. And also props for actually making a video you are "closing" the channel as a lot of creators I followed just fell of the world.

Sorry to hear this. Hope your move is quick an painless. Thanks for the inspiration. Your Heroquest board inspired me to make one as well. I even made a video series on my channel. I'm also in the process of making expansion bits that'll be uploaded eventually. Thanks again, and once you get settled, hopefully you'll give the thought of sharing with us again. Thank you for all you vids and projects. I used it a lot for inspiration on my MCP games, especially your heli-carrier build. Also learned to properly paint my minis! Hope you keep building and painting cool stuff!

Are you getting rid of all the videos? I just found your channel last week, and you single-handedly convinced me to make my Marvel Zombies/Marvel Crises Protocal terrain and minis in a comic book paint scheme. I would love access to those videos in the future, as I am still a few months away from starting that project. I hate to see you leave, and I wish you the best of luck in the future. Maybe one day you can return.
