I find these vids quite chill and calming keep up the work mate
Aaahhh mate thank you very much brother hope you enjoy, that’s what I like to hear ❤️ I appreciate you mate 😊
عالی برادر تلاشگر
❤️😊 thank you
Another good video Lee….. keep em coming buddy
Thank you brother what a legend ❤️
❤❤❤
How you doing brother? ❤️🤍❤️
درود بر تو برادر پر تلاش ❤❤❤❤
Thank you ❤️🤍
Another decent video. What level scaffolder are you? I'm looking at booking my part 1. Any tips?
Thank you mate, booking your part 1? Go for it brother you won’t fail, just pay attention in the class room part 😊
I appreciate everyone that works hard to build our houses & maintain our public services. Everyday heroes these people. Great job
Thank you mate we appreciate people like you too 😁
Why is the lift so low?
Because it’s 4 lifts not 3 mate, they pay the extra lift so we don’t have to use advance steps brother apart from tables and low porches, 1.1m lifts x4, then it’s handrail height for the lifts all the way up nice and easy mate 😊
Also your not working at your toes as a brickie mate breaking your back 😁
@ScaffManJones wasn't complaining just not seen 4 lifts for a long time, being a bricklayer I think it should be mandatory 👍
Yes mate definitely, easier and safer for us to build and easier and safer for you to work on, thank you for watching and commenting mate I appreciate you 🤍
@ScaffManJones 👍👍
❤❤❤درود بر تو برادر
Peace be upon you too brother 🤍❤️🤍
Put your fucking phone away and get grafting boy
Hi mate. I'm learning to scaffold at 38. Are there any tips you can give. Especially looking after your body. Thanks I'm enjoying the videos
Hello mate thank you for watching and commenting I appreciate you, first thing first find a company with aluminium tube like me 😂, it’s mainly your back mate as long as your bending your legs it won’t strain your back as much but tbh scaffolding is harsh on your body brother either way mate, no big carry’s we don’t need to show off lol (like i use to 😂) not worth it in the long run, I say this to all the young ones trying to max their caries out, might look good but you won’t feel good in the future lol, 20 years down the line wondering why you’ve had 3 ops on your body and a hip and knee replacement lol, again mate thank you for your support I appreciate you, ps make sure you use a drill too 😂 saves the joints in your arms but you might go a little deaf 😂 🤍
Thanks for the reply. Legend
@ScaffManJones Surely you’re the only firm using all Ally…. Must be a dream!!
@ I work for 2 company’s and their both ally lol, yes mate it is a dream and it really doesn’t damage your body, but tbh I prefer to work with Steel only because the jobs are more sturdy and the legs don’t float haha, but yeah mate it’s a bliss to work with, Iv done my time on Steel now lol, nice easy steady work now mate using ally Ps, thank you for returning scaffmadd ❤️
Top job my man, always use plenty of temporary's when doing splay work 👍💪
Thank you brother ❤️ and yeah mate I love temps 😂
Knocked fuck out that drill FFS 😂
Haha I know mate it’s old now, new drill after Christmas brother 😁
@ your a grafter boy and quick FairPlay to ya done the game for45 years loved it up the Scaff👊💪🏻💪🏻
@ Thank you mate I appreciate you for that. 45 years yeah? Nearly 19 years in lol and had enough already 😂 oj brother scaff till I die me 😊
20:18 Well, that does not look good. The mortar between the bricks looks to already have a crack.
Yeas mate the brickie knocked it himself, and the mortar is not the best, it’s a lil wet mate 😊
Fucking Ali tubes
How much you getting payed for site work?
I’m on day rate mate, not a bad one 😊
Yes mate already thought about getting a drone, there’s loads more I want to do yet brother 😁
how long you get left on this site mate ?
400 house build mate probably 2028-2030 depending on how many we do a year brother
@ we got 3000 done in 4 years mate but fair play
@@viziuljayden6155 so you were doing 600+ a year mate? That’s a lot of houses and there must of been a lot of men on site everyday to accomplish that brother, my busiest site was like 120 per year, progressive build too, which is a busy site for 3 men tbh
How much do you get on price for a porch
I’m on day rate mate through another company, but the direct lads get £60 a porch I think brother 😁
@ fuckin hell you only get about £20 in hull
Such a good idea with alloy tubes bro I’ve been thinking about doing that for years but was unsure if alloy would be strong enough to handles weight of trades but your doing site work with it with normal size bays does it hold up all good with no bent tubes an that? Sorry for the long question but genuinely wanting buy some alloy kit now I’ve seen this 👌
Yeah mate nice to work with too, the scaffold isnt as stable but when it’s tied in a built properly it’s not far off, the design has a little bit more gear in brother but you can build anything with it, just make sure you don’t mix the gear if you use steel and Ali together, and your all good mate I like people commenting 😁, what sort of work do you do, domestic or commercial work brother and do you have your own company yeah?
عالی❤❤
❤️ thank you brother, you still doing scaffolding?
Yeah that’s not good mate, just be careful up there brother, be as safe as you can be 🤍
@ScaffManJones حتما 💚💚💚
برادر حقوق یک داربستبند در کشور شما چقدر است ؟ و چطور می شود در کشور شما کار کرد؟
Hi i was wondering why do some scaffolders use a power drill and some not. This might be a dumb question but just curious
Hi mate, there’s a few reasons really, some company’s might not allow drills at all, some workplaces like power stations, chemical factory’s won’t allow them either for safety reasons, they say the drills could give off sparks and could possibly cause a fire so they won’t allow them, then there’s the proper scaffs lol, they will never convert to a drill 😂
@ Alr man thanks i have an job interview tommorrow as a scaffolder 😂and i hope they do it seems fun
Nice mate, you ever done it before?
@ yes without the drill i was confused😂😂😂i only did scaffs in school
❤❤❤
❤️🤍❤️
No magnet
Its aluminium brother
@ScaffManJones I did wonder lol Lucky boys
درود بر شما مرد پر تلاش❤❤❤
Peace upon you to brother and thank you 🤍❤️🤍
Can I see your impact wrench holder?
Go onto google and type “gorilla drill hook” and it will come up mate 😊 perfect for scaffolding
درخت ها برای دیدن کار تو به صف ایستاده اند چقدر منظره ی زیبایی هست
Haha nice, yeah mate it stunning isn’t it ❤️
No JJ? Dream team no longer? 😂. A lot of sites i have seen put their lifts up to the top 2 courses, whats the reason you stick to 9 dow from the top? Nice video fella
😂 he was probably on another site that day brother, and with the lift height mate, the boss gets paid for 4 lifts so instead of lifting handrail to suit ledgers I work the lifts out so it’s handrail height all the way up but on this site I have to adapt the top lift a couple of inches, so the last lift is under 350 for the rooofers and the second lift has to be 350 for the joiners so it’s the easiest way for us without adjusting all the ledgers/handrail, on my first few videos I was on a site where the lift had to be 500 from the trad so I was going 2 courses down and the second lift ended up a back breaker, much prefer it this way 😊🤍
6:52 your pal is a proper scaff, he dont carry his own tape😂
😂 sick of him using mine haha
❤❤❤
🤍🤍
Nice tidy job lads.
Thank you brother 😊❤️
Nice to see the young lads on the tools and not being uesd as cheap labour. Credit to you, your attitude towards them is nice to see. Spot on fella
Cracking video fella, not long since you dropped that plot, well not video wise.
Thank you brother, and Iv not been on that site for months now mate
@ScaffManJones just catching up on the videos now, I am a little behind.
38:34 I've seen you put a clip in that location on scaffolding several times, but I've never seen anything actually being connected to that clip. I'm wondering why you are putting that clip there.
Because it’s one of the back legs of the loading bay which will be having 1-2 tonne loaded into it so it’s to support the double above it so if it slips it’s supported 😁
عالی
😁
عالی
😊
💚🩵💙
🤍❤️🤍
WELL DONE MATE
😂
درود بر شما برادر یک سوال داشتم فاصله ی بین پایه ها دو متر است؟
What do you mean mate? The base lift and the 2nd lift? If so it works out about 2.2, I do my handrail height 1.1 so the brick guard fits nicely, then I measure 1.1 of the handrail again for the lift height, if you get that mate, peace upon you too mate ❤️
I mean the distance between the standards Here we take the distance of standards 2:80 and the distance of transoms 1:20. How about you?
@ yeah our transoms are max 1.2m and the standards because it’s aluminium have to be shorter than steel, so I go 1.8m roughly 6ft or under 😁
@@ScaffManJones Do you use the same aluminum pipe for a higher height, for example, forty meters or higher? Because I think that for a height higher than twenty meters, only steel will last
Lovely to see someone can still do a splay properly, tidy lads, been taught right👍
Thank you brother, I have built 2 different ways on my channel, thank god you seen the better one haha nice one for watching and commenting mate ❤️
Thanks for your videos. I find them oddly relaxing. I work as an electrician but have reduced capacity to work due to my health at the moment. I'm self-employed on mostly small works so don't come across scaffolding very often. I seem to have started watching a few scaffolders on youtube for some reason! Sharky, JR from Ludlow and Stellar as well as you. I've got a couple of questions if you don't mind. Hope I've got the right terminology specific to this video: 1) the bit you started with only has one inside board, which looks like it's a pain for you to get the drill behind the inside standard. Is there just one board here because of lack of space on site? 2) @23:31 what is the purpose of the double transoms? 3) Scaffolders tools; is it basically a level, a tape measure and a spanner? then obviously the impact wrench to make life easier? Have seen labourers on some videos (from various people) borrowing their workmates levels/tapes/spanners and I can't work out why they don't have their own, or is it frowned upon for them to go near any fittings? 4) Do brickies ever try to get the mortar between the bricks or is part of their job on a newbuild site just to throw it all over your scaff?!? I guess you don't even notice it any more! Thanks, keep grafting!
Thank you for your support brother, and yeah mate, 1 inside board because I couldn’t get a 4 board run down there because of the ground I double transome the short fleets in case they pull back a little and become a trap end, And yeah we share a tape between us 😂, And yes mate brickies like to put more mortar on the scaff than the houses atm haha ❤️🤍
Hitting new brickwork with no caps on tubes 😂
😂 soon as it’s acid cleaned mate there ain’t a single mark on the wall
In the spirit of 'working smarter, not harder' it looks like some buckets or tubs could save the labourer from having to pick fittings out of the mud when you can't chuck them straight into a stillage!
Yeah I normally do brother but forgot the buckets so grabbed them after and just picked them up with him 😁
I really enjoy your videos mate, Im supposed to start scaffolding sometime in the near future and I would like to ask u how much experience do you think is enough for me to do the part 1 course? I know cisrs require 3 months but dont wanna wait this long.
Ahhh brother thank you very much, I appreciate your support❤️, you can start scaffolding with nothing mate, depending on if your working on a site then you will need a cscs card, but if your doing street work just labouring you won’t need anything, then you can do your apprenticeship while your working for a company to get your experience and some companies will put you through your courses, I did a fast track course, I needed 6 months experience then I went straight for my part 1 (2 week course)then after I was part 1, I waited 6 months again and I went for my part 2 (2week course again), pretty sure you can still do that mate, good luck in the future mate 🤍
@ I appreciate the time that you’ve put into explaining this to me man thanks so much, got yourself a new subscriber🫡
@@MickeySixx Thank you brother it’s honestly not a problem, if you need to know anything mate, comment on a video or email me and I’ll get back you soon as I can, again mate thank you for your support, much love ❤️
اینجا کدام شهر است؟
The site I work on is in Middlewich mate 😁
خوش آب و هوا 💙💙💚💚💙💙
عالی موفق باشی برادر❤❤❤
Thank you brother ❤️💛❤️
Why not just put a single stop end on instead of a double lol
Errrrm dunno mate 😁
The card is perfect as always, brother
😁
I’m guessing you own the company? How are jobs billed. Seems like very intense, as you have to stay ahead of masons or whoever, then tear down after them and keep the pace moving. Great work.
No mate I don’t own the company, and tbh it’s not a mega busy site either, it’s like 70 houses a year when I normally do 90-120 a year which you could imagine it’s a lot busier, also the way it gets billed is at the start of every site they have a certain number of houses, let’s say their is 10 different styles of houses, my boss will price them ten houses then times the price by how many of them types of houses are in the 400 house estate and he will get a full amount of the price on the site, then we hand them over and he ticks them of the list lol, so yeah he knows from day one how much he’s going to make on the whole site, then anything not on the price list is a extra job which he re-prices the extra work, Hopefully in the future I will own a business like this one, I’m begging for it 😂 Thank you for watching again mate and commenting ❤️
@@ScaffManJones Appreciate that reply. The upfront costs of equipment would be high. Hopefully the economy will come back now and you'll get all the business you can stand! Hope you channel grows as well. It's relaxing to watch you kick ass out there! Great job. Greetings from Kentucky.
@ your welcome, yes mate the equipment is expensive but you only have to lay it out once, then you use the same gear on the site untill the end, unless your doing more work than the gear you have, then you just add more equipment to the site 😁
We don't use meters and level to measure, we only build tall scaffolding up to 30 meters by eye and without having a plan, and this is a big disaster
Yeah mate that must be hard work without the right equipment and a plan 😊
