Hello mate! I’m fitting a pinto into my mk2 escort and have modified the tunnel like you’ve done. One question, what gearbox mount are you using and do you need spacers? I’ve got a gearbox mount but it seems too wide 🤔 Any advise would be much appreciated

Great channel I have just found I have just been looking back on the Escort Mazda mx5 build and you said you used the mx5 Rev counter and speedo in the mk2 escort dash can I be cheeky and ask do you still use the existing escort mk2 printed circuit boards or do you have to wire them separately does the speedo cable fit straight into the mx5

Why are you fitting an English axle when its got a baby atlas axle already fitted which are much stronger than English and cheaper to get differential for I don't understand your logic but I love mk1 and mk2 getting fixed up so ill be watching all your videos 👍

Just curious, see that you push something under the steering column every so often? What is it?

That wrap is really thick fibreglass which is difficult to fit. DEI Titanium wrap is a lot easier to work with and is best product you can find (the price reflects this haha) I would have done this to my dump pipe with DEI wrap but with E85 it doesn't get crazy hot. And my system is 3" mild steel, living in a humid climate the wrap will rust it in no time at all. Yours appears to be stainless??
