hi this is an animatic i made for one of the first musicals that i hyperfixated on when it first came out way back in 2017 and recently kind of rediscovered
it's called Pál utcai fiúk [Paul Street boys] and it's the stage adaptation of a novel from 1906, and it's about two groups of middle school (? 11-14yo) boys fighting over a piece of land in the capital because it's the best place to play games, it's a really good book and a really good musical if you can you should definitely check it out
the song itself happens in the "darkest hour", the dark haired boy (Geréb) had betrayed his friends but he wants to come back to them and their leader (Boka) basically tells him to fuck off
also i cannot animate running to save my fucking life forgive me

Is this from an anime? I know the song isn't, but that was amazing! You should finish the song, that's what I personally wanna see, even if the animation is never fully finished because this was the cherry on top! Aaaah thank you!! I've been drawing for like 8ish years so my number one tip is to just practice but I know that can be a little useless to hear the way I learned was just copying artstyles I liked and then slowly I developed my own and ye I've been practicing ever since and I still got a long long way to go so it feels a little weird to be giving advice but yeah that's that!!
