Thats awesome 👏🏽
Thank. You for watching please subscribe and have a great day.
The river peoples still respect you guys...
Ahho from the big river raised in warm springs it brings me joy seeing us still respect the rezz.. even though I live in the dalles area
Thank you very much yes I know we have natives all over from the Rez thanks for watching and support
What kind of set up Do you use ?
I am using 50lb power pro braided main line with a 30lb monofilament maxima line for my hook & egg loop. I use a 18 oz banker sinker to keep my hook close to the bottom of the river. Thanks for watching and great question.
Need to see group size to determine what the rifle is capable of.
1/2” group at 200 yds with factory 143 eld-X ammo I have not started load development for this rifle yet. I bought 10 boxes of eld-X ammo because of the ammo scare awhile back, I shot 2 elk at about 300 yds n had both bullets get stuck in the hide on opposite shoulder. Full mushroom of the bullet, both elk died 100 yds apart
You call that endurance race.. there running horses down the hill.. what kinda cowboys running horses on there feet.
That Mountain is so steep even the horses in the past loose there footing and stumble down the mountain along with the riders coming off the saddle also. You should come watch it in person it’s quit a race. My drone couldn’t get to the top of the mountain because of flight restrictions on it. Have a good day and thank you for watching.
Jump in!
Would you buy this again or not? How’s the quality?
Just subscribed! Some great videos. Love the hunts, rifles, and long range shooting you've been doing. Oregonian myself.
Thank you for Subscribing and hope to see you out there somewhere. Have a great day
Need to quit playing with that fish and let it go or do your usual and bonk the wild one and shlap it in your cooler.
Please refrain from negative comments and talking trash do your part on conservation please.
@@Warmspringsrezbuck no negativity all conservation.
Nice! You got a drone?
Yes I have it for about a month now great investment for videos
I just picked up a Savage 17 WSM B-mag. Like it like how it felt w
You will have fun with it
What velocity are you getting from that Rifle? I have been hearing that tikkas shoot a little slower?
Tikka T3 Roughtec 6.5 PRC suppressed 2790 fps
You heard correctly. I have over 20 Tikkas. Excellent accuracy. Less than ideal velocities with factory ammo. I'm taking my new 308 Tikka T3x Roughtech Ember shooting tomorrow for the first time along with another new 308 Tikka T3x Hunter stainless superlite
@@Accuracy1sthow you liking that Roughtech? I'm thinking about getting the same model in .308 or 30-06
@@357magnole8 DO IT! THANK ME LATER. Tikka RoughTech is one of the finest factory production rifles ever made. I now have 2 of the tan/black Roughtechs in 6.5PRC, right hand for my son, left hand for me. Still have that stainless RoughTech Ember in 308 which is amazing. It is right handed. I found the identical rifle in left hand but I'm not paying $1349 for it - also in 308. Would be cool for my son and I to both have 2 each though. Who knows, I may have a moment of financial insanity and just buy a left hand 308 for me. But I still watch out for sales.
Yes the Tokkas are smooth and very nice rifles for the Budget middle class guys that want a nice rifle I agree with you 100%
Just got my B mag yesterday going to have the barrel threaded next week ordered a Boyd's Camp Spike stock for it which will be glass bedded. I have a Sparrow 22 & OSS Rad 22 suppressors to use on it.
Nice just have to find ammo now
@@Warmspringsrezbuck academy sports outdoor ordered 1000 rounds
@@TerrySprey Thank you I also ordered 500 rounds of the Winchester 20 gr. Thanks for watching the channel and looking out for fellow Varmint Hunters.
I have a Tikka CTR in 6.5 Creedmoor. The thing is the most accurate rifle I have ever owned. It averages under 0.5 MOA for 5-shot groups with 140 gr ELD-Ms. It shoots just over 0.5 MOA with 147 gr ELD-Ms. Anyway, it's a pleasure to shoot.
Yes I love the action on these rifles there buttery smooth and lightweight to carry in the woods. Pretty accurate out of the box and if we do our part on shooting it’s almost as good as a custom rifle. Thanks for watching!
Same rifle and it prefers the 147
That’s good to hear I also shot the 147’s match ammo and it also likes it too but I wasn’t sure of the match ammo for hunting deer and elk size game.
Noooice !
Who’s this? Fellow Springer?
@@Warmspringsrezbuck eeeeeee
Awesome video....beautiful sheep...great stalk...good work
I tried with my bow but no shot so I was down to the wire on end of the hunt so I opted for my rifle last minute. Thank you for watching.
@@Warmspringsrezbuck I am nezperce from idaho...have hunted bighorn for longtime..both my daughters have harvested nice rams..was my favorite hunts...

Was your barrel already threaded for a muzzle attachment or did you have a gunsmith do it?
I had it threaded and ordered it a barrel protector on midway USA for it also. Thanks for watching and please subscribe. Have a great day.
ok is that the micro bastard or the little bastard with what thread pitch? Thanks!
I it’s The Answer muzzlebrake
@@Warmspringsrezbuck ok what thread pitch is on your rifle thanks?
youtube sucks!
I’m posting the short video for you now on the Tuber
The video is up for you @z06ix hope this zoomed in video helps let me know if you need more help.
@@Warmspringsrezbuck awesome what is your thread pitch that the gunsmith originally threaded on your rifle?
The packaging I have for the muzzlebrake says I ordered the 1/2”x28 tpi. Meaning threads per inch. .308 caliber
@@Warmspringsrezbuck Can I ask why did your gunsmith recommended the 1/2x28 thread, why not the 9/16x24 pitch? Thanks....
Did you receive my email? Thanks....
No I did not
@@Warmspringsrezbuck please let me know if you receive this comment. I found out that yotube does not allow giving emails in their comments.
@@z06ix I received your comments but no email address. I posted a short video on the muzzle brake
One baddest ass video of 1984 Toyota Hilux Diesel.
Thanks hope you liked the video, please subscribe
You can also use a 1/2”x28 thread pitch for your pencil size barrels and order a adapter 5/8x24 thread pitch to increase its size for a muzzle brake or a suppressor in the future. I had to do this on my Remington 700 bdl in 260 chambering. No I just thread my suppressor onto my adapter.
ok all the gunsmiths are telling me that that pitch has too much metal taken out and recommended 9/16x28 or 9/16x24 pitch. I was also thinking about getting the answer, do you have all the set screws on top taken out? Why didn't you go with 9/16x28 pitch, has less barrel material taken out.... also is the answer pinned on with loctite or do you have a torque setting? thanks....
@@z06ix Sorry for the late response, I do not have any screws out on the top of the muzzlebrake. I mostly shoot prone and I didn’t want any muzzle jump. Also I do not have the brake set down with loctite or anything.
@@Warmspringsrezbuck ok nice since you have all the set screws on top installed, did you have to loctite them because they are so small and do they not come out when you shoot?
is this how your 28 nosler liberty is setup? 1/2 x 28 thread with 5/8x24 adapter? sorry for all the questions im trying to decide what to do with my rifle, I have the exact same one.
What is your e-mail? So I can give you a more detailed video for you.
I saw your Toyota truck in October. On my way to Bend, Oregon. Hopefully one we can meet up with my '85 Toyota truck Turbodiesel. Thanks.
That would be cool!
@@Warmspringsrezbuck Yeah....Im in Portland. Let me change the starter first then we can meet up. Thanks.

Thanks for watching! Have a great day.
I'm about to buy a Ruger 17WSM from a friend, I would like to know where did you get the Suppressor from? also will I find one for my model.
You can buy your suppressor from Silencer Central and yes there are many model to choose from. I have a Multi-Caliber suppressor for my needs because it works from a 300 Weatherby all the way down to 17 hmr caliber. Interchangeable on barrels. Have a great day and thanks for watching.

It’s all worth it with family and good friends around. Thanks for watching have a great day!
That's a daring shot. Wow!
yiiya don't fall in. :) Get some delicious food.
Nope just stocking up for the winter and the smoke shed rolling smoke.
I got to visit your tribal lands. It was amazing. From the Navajo Nation. Just stopping by to see your tribal foods.
Well thank you and I hope you enjoyed yourself here
Assuming you had to have the end of muzzle threaded by a machinist?
Yes I did 5/8x24 thread pitch for direct thread
Thank you for the post, I'm a bit late in my comment. I also shoot a 17 WSM and am looking for a suppressor. What suppressor is that you're using? Went to their site and didn't see a Mack Bro's Varmint 4.0. Beautiful Db reduction. Thank you, Eric
The new version of the Varmint 4.0 is the Banshee 30 titanium model it’s good for multi calibers from 17 hmr up to 300 Win magnums. But if your strictly use it for small calibers I would look into a small suppressor made for the lighter calibers. Multi use caliber suppressors are great for all rifles but for a 17 or 22 caliber would be a better suppressor in noise reduction for the light calibers. Thank you and please subscribe
That’s awesome!! Are there any other videos?? And how was the Pyro show this year??
The fireworks were just as good as the main show lots of mortars from private families always great illegals in Warm Springs, Oregon
I only get to watch the illegals because I’m always lighting off the main show. Lol
Better hang on to this one!
I read only 181 were sold in the United States. Wish he made a video how to change starter on 2lt.
I had rebuilt my starter on my truck because I couldn’t find one for sale new.
