@@akungb416 sangat bisa sekali, saya juga kadang pake gpu passthrough di vm kok, buat jalaanin program windows , pastiin iommu groupnya ada di 1 grup. klo terpisah harus acs patch

@@Antxya wuthering waves ga bisa dijalanin native / pake proton karena ada anti cheat. makanya pake qemu kvm, install windows di kvm. dan beberapa xml windowsnya kita edit untuk bisa bypass Anti cheatnya.

i think it will work with some tweaks, gnome boxes from my understanding is based on qemu kvm too. Im actually kinda new what Gnome Boxes is

If you have intel cpu with integrated graphics, works flawlessly. Someone on reddit vfio have successfully passthorugh igpu to Windows vm.

first i have to delete all xml related to hyper-v on my win11.xml. Second you have to spoofing your hardware. I mean you have to making your vm like a real hardware, for example i have to adding a few xml code to my vm to add my spesific bios, motherboard etc, and the lastly, you have to passthrough your SSD to the vm. you can always to use Windows 10 to 2025, but after that end support, my suggestion is to make a windows 10 vm and make snapshot of your vm, in some cases if your windows is crash, you still revert back to last snapshot you saved.

this is the easy way to play on linux. Passthrough your gpu card to the vm and play it under vm. The requirment qemu, virt manager etc all documented on pci ovmf arch wiki. if you using debian , fedora, ubuntu, you have take a look to their documentation

QEMU support gpu passthrough, you have to bind ids your gpus to vfio-pci. All the details on pci ovmf arch wiki. I have a tutorial 2 years ago, when im setup this machines, but if you want to play Wuthering waves, you have to edited a few xml codes. im playing HSR through windows 11 vm on my arch linux machines, sometimes im using the-honkers-railway-launcher from github (you can search from google. The developer reminder users to not mention that project) After 4 month using that project , my account is safe from getting banned.

Im sorry for late responses, Thank you for your comments , Looking glass is game changer in my life xd. When i want to play a based Windows games with Anti- Cheat, i can use Windows on my QEMU KVM and play it without losing performance. Mutahar "Someordinarygamers"and Wendell from LevelOneTech is my guide to make this works, and also from /rVFIO reddit forum.

@@alamputraaf After a lot of trial and error I've finally got it to work with looking glass! However the automatic resizing of the windows vm I unfortunately couldn't get to work (yes the guest drivers are installed). Ultimately it's just such a wonderful setup to have 😄

Can you sent me a screenshoot your problems to imgur or something, i think you not configure a command while launch the looking glass on terminal. You can see my Looking Glass can be minimize and full screen. The command you need is "looking-glass -m -s 97'( the 97 is the ctrl button on your right keyboard)

you have to hidden the vm by adding a few codes to your Windows XML. I got in PCI Passthrough Arch wiki website. Here the code: pastebin.com/ah3EEwCh

if it doesn't work, you have to running under 2 hypervisor using hyper-v on your vm. Basicly just turn 'on' features hyper-v on your windows vm, reboot, and here you go. Here is my full documentation you can look on my github github.com/Alamputraaf/GPU-Passthrough-Nvidia
