I've just returned home from our theatre in Guadalajara, Spain, where we enjoyed Erena's performance with Vincent Herring and Thier ensemble. It's been a memorable concert indeed. It was elegant, soulful, cheerful, playful, full of art from all performers. An evening to remember. Thank you!!

Erena, you have a gift for arranging! Keep it up! Love the sound of violins in a jazz setting. As for your solos, I've always noticed that you don't just play a bunch of notes. When you play, it means something. 🙂🙃🙂

Erena, I screen recorded this last night so I could play it through my store system and I open TH-cam and you are the first to appear on my screen. How does it know?! lol Anyway, can’t imagine the amount of time you must have absolutely obsessed over alto sax to reach where you are now. No one sounds like you! Phil W kind of did. Is that recording of the board? The live sound is really great. Can hear every detail. Just awesome 🙏🏼❤️👊🏼

I use Vandoren blue box 2.5 while most people use 3 or 4 not me I just can’t play on a three for some reason

Jajaja, la adicción y vicio de cualquier saxofonista, estar buscando sonidos… ufff … todas te quedan bien.. las boquillas Ichimori y Ken Okutsu muy hermoso sonido, estas no las conocía.. gracias por compartir
