      It is definitely still relevant. It's just much harder for entry-level people to break into the tech space. It's more about networking and building projects you care about to stand out. The more you learn, the easier it will be to pick a path that makes sense for your future. Such as SWE, freelancing, web development, fullstack, etc.

    my coding skills took a big hit when AI came out. I started writing less code but I’m much more productive. I can build full stack apps but idk if I’m good enough for a job yet. Now it feels like I rely on AI too much but it’s hard to quit using it when it’s so efficient. What advice would you give?

      @Notepad123 What kind of projects did you build? If you want, I can look it over and give you feedback. Just send me an email, but in regards to your question, just stop using AI if you're relying on it too much, bro. Lol just rely on what you know and code. If you get stuck, just look up what you want to do and just apply it.

    Underrated advice here. Tbh I'm just getting started with coding, html specifically. I'm doing it beside my business bachelor's degree just because I like creating things on my own and understanding the actual app, website etc. My thought is always, when I see something cool: Damn, I wish I could code that. So I took the biggest step, which is starting . I'll continue with learning the basics of CSS, then Java/TypeScript. I'm taking a guided course for a Full Stack Dev and it will definitely take me a while to complete that but it's fun learning it.

    I just had a demoralizing interview on Monday where something I worked on over a year ago was asked and I confused it stuff I worked on today. Real painful to say the least. So even if you don’t lie on your resume it’s dam near as bad to forget what you’ve done and get asked to code an example.

    Great video sir. This is very much appreciated. I am currently and have been in the automation field(which requires plc programming such as ladder logic, structured text, FDB, etc..)but am looking to transition or shift into just the programming aspects of it. I have a little knowledge of C programming. But In your professional opinion, What would you suggest I do to make this shift, or transition? Thanks for your feedback.

    • @TheFullstackbro
      @TheFullstackbro หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you bro! I would first find out what's my why for transitioning into the more hands-on programming route. Once you get that, find out what programming languages are widely used in the automation space. Using AI can help you easily narrow that down. You can then look for courses on that language that you might want to take. I've personally used Udemy a couple of times and found good courses that were pretty cheap. Just make sure that the instructor is solid and you should be good to go. Hope this helps!

    Graphic Designer and Motion designer here, been working for 5 years after completing my first degree in Communication Design. Here in Ghana companies want the best work to put their brands and businesses out there but they just don't think you are worth the money you ask for, no matter how good your work is. Just to be clear I have a good idea of the kind of designs that sell that's basically why I get these clients and companies coming to me in the first place. Companies hire a graphic designer and expect him to be a multimedia production and marketing team at the same time while they are paying less than Ghc 3,000 ($187.23) per month. The companies that are willing to offer a "better" pay, expect you to have web and coding skills (HTML,CSS and JavaScript) while AI also slowly takes our jobs. I don't mean to say say tech is indeed for me, but I have challenged by self by taking a few tech courses in tech like, ISC2 entry course and currently Angela Yu's Fullstack Dev on udemy (yes i paid for it), however, I am a slow learner when it comes to tech stuff but I eventually understand things a little better after a few more revisions . I cant say I am one of those guys that have the "brain-power" for programming or can learn technologies at a quicker pace like the best tech guys out here but I have a few "eureka" moments every now an then, and it keeps me believing that I can develop myself up to a point where I can solve even bigger problems outside of capstone projects and web tuts . I might have to read a documentation 2 times more that the average "tech-smart-guy", but I believe it's possible. My "WHY" my not be as strong as the guys with natural gifts to be in tech but I believe at this point I really don't have a CHOICE. I need to go hard or go home!!.

    I'm sort of new to web development, meaning that I took a class in beginning web development back in 2010 and I started learning as a self taught developer off & on since 2020. I would like to be a full stack developer but it seem like a large mountain to climb. My question is when you code, what exactly do you code that goes in the web page? You mentioned in one video that you were coding for four hours. What do you code for that long? Do you have to have an idea before you start, do you have to design what you are going to code. For example, I sometimes have to do a rough drawing of what I want to put on the webpage.

    • @TheFullstackbro
      @TheFullstackbro 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Great questions! Usually, I have the requirements and page design already laid out in a ticket with a bunch of subtasks assigned to it called an Epic. Then, I look at the most difficult task first and start building. I can code for 4 hours straight because I understand the system. If I want to lock in on getting a project done, I will spend most of my effort doing the hard things so that the easier ones are the final touches.

    I'm pivoting into tech and currently unemployed. Uncomfortable is an understatement lol. But, I'm studying (self-taught) as often as I can for a data analyst job, while learning a.i development. I'm working on the job I need, while positioning myself for the role I want to be in. I have my down days, but I push through it like I do my workouts....."Breathe, now one more".

      That's what's up, bro! Keep it up. Have you invested in an online course for AI development? Keep pushing through the hard days, that's going to help you grow the most.

      @SilkyySmooth Nice, what's the Computer Vision course about? I have a machine learning course from Udemy as well that I have to get through.
