| Thompson Rivers University - Review, Advice and Experience as an International Student! | CANADA |
1. Why is Canada having to deal with the repercussions of greedy Ghost Consulting in India targeting Indian students? Filling their heads with PR fantasies. Leading to the vast majority of Indian international STUDENTS in Canada insisting (no matter what?) on PR versus returning home without it when SCHOOLING ends. Contributing to (not causing) a housing crisis. CANADIANS never promised students PR. CANADIANS never told students to risk life savings or get into debt. 2. Why is Canada having to deal with 10,000 fraudulent acceptance letters created by greedy Indian 'consultants' (and given to their own people)? 3. Why have Canadians seen on social media videos that Indian nationals have posted all advertising Canadian PR & visas & permits & schools & jobs etc., like they're selling shirts? Posted hourly for years & rarely in English (with very very rare input from Canadians). With colleges and universities unable to control their conduct. 4. Why did Canada not have numerous PRIVATE 'diploma mills' (most in/near Indian neighborhoods) until 40% of international students were from India? Schools that Canada is now shutting down. 5. Why is the title "IELTS wives" known to Canadians now? And why are Canadians meeting wives who were abandoned by their husbands? 6. Why have Canadians seen Canadian housing being scooped up en-mass as investment vehicles by, and for, Indian nationals? Often these 'landlords' also cram 20+ students in a small home and charge each way too much for rent. 7. Why are Indian STUDENTS asking for Canadian asylum (which Indians rarely qualify for)? Canada is really considering fast-tracking asylum refusals (to prevent further asylum system abuse). 8. Why were 50,000 foreign students marked as "no-shows" at Canadian colleges last Spring after entering Canada? Indian students accounted for 19,852. Plus 12,553 are under investigation. 9. What about LMIA letters being sold to prospective Indian immigrants by Indian businesses in Canada for big sums of money? Plus what about Indians being deported for using fake LMIA job offers? 10. Why are Indian business owners known more & more for black money? 11. Why were Canadian food banks & other charity services recklessly advertised on social media in Indian languages? 12. Why did Canada end ‘flagpoling’ post graduation work permit practices at the border? 13. Why are Indians using Canada to illegally cross into the USA? Who is Harshkumar Ramanlal Patel (as one example)? . 14. Why are Canadians having to deal with Sikh & Hindu diasporas stirring up tribal hatreds (including extortions & coercions) in CANADA even though it all stems from their ancestral home? Who is Hardeep Nijjar? Vikash Yadav? Goldy Brar? Amit Shah? Arsh Dalla? Gurjant Singh? Plus the Lawrence Bishnoi gang stoking fear in Canada for years 15. Is India now weaponizing travel visas involving Canada to silence critics? Plus bot accounts on social media amplifying misinformation about Canada’s Sikh community. 16. Why did Canada have to launch investigations in regards to foreign interference in numerous Canadian elections, stemming from India? 17. Why is BC & Ontario taking steps to possibly outlaw The Caste System at workplaces? Due to numerous labour complaints from their fellow Indians. 18. Why are most (85%) tech support scams and identity theft scams in North America originating from India? RCMP is often seeking suspects involved in scams targeting even elderly Canadians. 19. Why is Homeland Security investigating Indian origin truck drivers, Vanshpreet Singh and Manpreet Singh, who were caught trafficking illegal drugs worth $40,000,000 from USA to their Ontario residence last month? Plus 9 similar and separate arrests this month involving Ontario-truck-drivers Gaganpreet Singh Randhawa, Amarjeet Singh Matharu, Sukhraj Singh, Sukjindr Singhfrom, Naseeb Chisty, Jasbir Singh, Arshdeep Singh, Juli Sabosan Sathiaseelan, and Gagandeep Singh. Plus more in other provinces. Most illegal drugs in North America begin in Asia (going back years). 20. Why have major auto theft rings formed in Canada in recent years, shipping stolen car parts to lower Asia and northern Africa? When arrested, many are from where? Research and see. 21. Plus speed racing in Brampton, Ontario, causing injuries and death. Research and see. 22. Fake taxi drivers stealing bank card information and emptying victim's bank accounts. 23. Who is Arshdeep Singh who posed as a fake Uber/taxi driver in order to sexually assault women? 24. Break and enters throughout Brampton involving Gurparkar Singh, Akshdeep Singh, Kanavpreet Singh and Dilpreet Singh. 25. Why are Canadians primarily seeing Indians only protesting & waving their flags on Canadian streets making demands (because they do not have enough credentials to remain in Canada)? Carrying signs accusing VERY tolerant multicultural Canada of racism by not giving them PR!!! Why is a country with over a billion people now badmouthing Canada and hurting it's great reputation? Canada, one of the top ten most peaceful and kind-hearted and law abiding and multicultural and INVITING countries on Earth! How do you think this makes Canadians feel? And why for the first time in over 100 years, are most Canadians becoming very distrustful of immigration????? With stuff like this, Canadians are getting more and more upset. It’s not hate. It’s not racism. It’s a normal reaction to an influx of any culture if it doesn’t assimilate and blend to a country’s way of living, including rules and conduct norms. Support the country you live in … or live in the country you support. Canadians don't want Canada to turn into a low-trust society. Canadians want multi-culturism to succeed and for all people (including immigrants) to be okay. Now Canadians are VERY happy with IRCC's recent changes (reductions & multifaceted investigations & deportations etc.). Including long-term Asian Canadians MOST upset (by all of this). Canadian Feds expect 4 million people, with expiring visas, to leave Canada in 2025 and polls show 78% of Canadians want this. Why?? Canada is the 6th safest country in the world, after a recent downgrade. India is in 82nd place. Why??? Canada is also way way less corrupt and Canadians want Canada to remain trustworthy: www.transparency.org/en/cpi/2023

Canadians are raised to not hate and to embrace diversity (including being taught this in all daycares/schools). People need to look at all sides. India has a 29% unemployment rate amongst it's own graduates. One of the big reasons why young people are leaving India in droves. Plus less than 50% of the 950 million working-age population in India is employed (compared to over 70% in other emerging markets). Amongst the Indian working group, many are self-employed and contain “unpaid helpers in family enterprises”. India has one of the highest emigration rates in the world. As many zero in on education as a way to gain access to a western country? Did international students/families pay into Canadian taxes all their lives like domestic students have (earning cheaper tuition fees)? No. Plus Canada did NOT tell international students/parents to spend/risk their life savings on a "Canadian dream". Canada did NOT tell international students to borrow money. Canada did NOT promise international students work. Canada did NOT promise international students PERMANENT RESIDENCY. Meanwhile freelance agents have been operating in an unbridled market in India. Often by painting a distorted picture of what students can receive from Canada. Plus in recent years, a new type of recruitment has cropped up via foreign nationals as many "edu-tech" have created online platforms to connect millions of potential students with the recruiters. The sub-agents have absolutely no no direct connection with the Canadian college. Plus the college has no no ability to control their conduct. Indian sham operations abused/abusing Indian students in person &/or via massive advertising … PRIMARILY in their native language that most Canadians do NOT understand. They paint a false picture in the minds of their own people (of what Canada could or would or should offer Indian students)! Canadians are seeing Indians protesting & waving their flags on Canadian streets making demands. Because they may not have enough credentials to remain in Canada? And because rules designed to protect CANADA are not meeting their desires? Why isn't there repetitive crowds of African or Caribbean or Filipino etc., students making demands? They're in Canada too. And Canadians are seeing Indian protestors carrying signs telling Canada (one of the most tolerant countries on the planet) to end it's racism (by not deporting)!!! Really angering Canadians. And even though Canada is being falsely/unfairly blamed for too much, Canada has yet to deport students like crazy (but likely will soon). Instead Canada has been trying trying to find balance of who can stay vs go. While also trying to fix anything Canada did wrong. Create a better future. Why? Because Canadians actually care about doing so for both Canadians and international students. Canada's own are also victims of the $ greedy Indian 'agents' who misrepresented Canadian PR. Due to a severe lack of homes and entry jobs in Canada partially due to Indian STUDENTS and agents very creatively swarming all post-secondary SCHOOLS, with vast majority fighting for PR versus returning home without it when SCHOOLING ends! Regardless of their qualifications or Canada's needs. Many asking for asylum too (which Indians rarely qualify for). Perhaps false asylum claims should be a reason to permanently ban people from ever returning? Canada PR has NEVER been tuition purchasable. Questions: ⦁ What is India doing about any of this? After Canada told India to halt Ghost Consulting? Indians themselves say their Indian leaders are often corrupt & deceitful. Plus Canada didn't have numerous PRIVATE 'diploma mills' until 40% of international students were from India. Many in or near Brampton Ontario, and Surrey British Columbia, where most Indians have lived. Coincidence? Schools that Canada is now shutting down. ⦁ What about all the social media videos that primarily Indian nationals have posted (for half a decade now including today) all advertising Canadian PR like they're selling a shirt? Promoting Canadian visas & permits & schools & jobs etc. etc.. Videos not only posted hourly but rarely in English or French. With very rare input from Canadian citizens. ⦁ What about the IELTS spouses? Anchor babies? ⦁ What about Canadian food banks & other charity services being recklessly advertised on YT in Indian languages? ⦁ What about Canadian housing being scooped up en-mass as investment vehicles by, and for, foreign nationals? Some home rental/boarding signs stating "vegetarians only can apply". Often these 'landlords' also cram 20 students in a small home and charge each way too much for rent. ⦁ What about Indian nationals buying local businesses then repeatedly putting Indians only in the top tier positions (while also changing familiar work practices)? BC & Ontario are also outlawing the Caste System. ⦁ What about the Sikh vs Hindu violence/extortions across Canada? Diasporas stirring up tribal hatreds (in Canada) even though it all stems from their ancestral home. Why???????? ⦁ What about the Canadian government launching investigations in regards to foreign interference in Canadian elections, stemming from Asia continent? Canada also had to end flagpoling at the border. Canadians are so so so not used to all this!! Do Indians care about Canadians suffering too? Or do they primarily want to point fingers at the Canadian government etc., when many things weren't in Canada's control (yet)? Why should Canadians pay for what Indians did/do to Indians? Canadians want multi-culturism to succeed and for all people (including immigrants) to be okay. Now everyone I know is VERY happy with IRCC's recent changes (reductions & multifaceted investigations etc.). Including multi-generational long-term Asian Canadians MOST upset (by all of this).
Saving money is very important. Also have emergency funds as you never know when you might need to use it.
