Ik ben Eric Boogaard woon in Amsterdam. Naast het feit, dat ik ruim 30 jaar ervaring heb in de financieel administratieve richting, reis ik elke zaterdag met de trein door het hele land met mijn Weekend Vrij abonnement van de NS. Daarnaast neem ik ook mijn e-bike mee, om ergens in het land een stukje te rijden.

De van Rossums waren zeer positief verrast door kampen, een verborgen parel. Heeft architectonisch veel overeenkomst met Amsterdam. Is ook in dezelfde tijd tot bloei gekomen. Doordat de IJssel niet genoeg diepgang had, konden de grote boten van de Zuiderzee, Kampen niet meer bereiken, anders had Kampen zomaar de grootste stad van Nederland kunnen worden. Was toentertijd een zeer succesvolle Hanzestad.

Born there in 1961. The city has literally been butchered by property developers. Industrial tourism at its worst. If you want to see exclusive Knokke, Google pictures from 100 years ago.
It's sad to see how some cities have changed so drastically over the years.
