The House Next Door horror scene
This horror scene vfx shot is very interesting and challenging for me to create, Used cloth simulations for the bedsheet rolling FX. Enjoyed working on this shot. hope you all like this..

This scene is from a malayalam movie Clint, This is a climax shot all of the chart papers fly away after the boys death. Used Maya nCloth for simulations, Rendered using Arnold.

how did you sim the leaves, mine would rotates wildly with pin or attach, what i did was reconstruct the structure of every leaf as curves and simulated that as hair, could you give me a hint on how to setup the cloth version?
I lost the files along with my crashed Harddisk, But i will share the tricks, THos eplants i prepared a low poly plant, stem and leafs are seperate cloth, I constrained the leaf and stem, I prepared a convex geo for the dogs, Used vellum cloth sim.

Damn
houdini?
Yes Houdini, Except cloth sim.
How did you make this animation?
4K Isometric Render in Maya and AfterEffects motion graphics.
geat one, how much you charge for the projects?
Sorry, I dont have this assets. All belongs to the respective VFX Studio
what a wonder of space☑🔝
arouses admiration⚡🙌
Nice job
can you share this hip😊
Hi 👋 How did you do it for multiple trees?
Please do a tutorial...you have done a good job
Did you use vellum cloth for the plants or did you end up making a hair skeleton for them?
Hi, Its complete Vellum simulation, I used low poly proxy geometry for simulation.
@@GROOT2020, yeah, that part is pretty clear, my question was wether you simmed it as Vellum Cloth or Vellum Hair. But based on what you just said, it seems you went with a remeshed version of the plant to have a low poly triangle mesh, right? It's cool!
@@felipeamayaq Its Vellum cloth, Simulation geometry is low poly for leaf and stem. Leaf is attached to stem based on distance, Later i transfered the sim to High poly mesh.
@@GROOT2020, well it looks very good!
It's stunning, especially the blast scene. Thanks for sharing.
Baahubali full simulations video please
Your skills are awesome
would tell where we learn all this effects
nice and simple....
Very nice. I am from bangalore. I am a student and also learning houdini. How is the career in vfx. And if possible can you tell how you work is going on. Thanks.
Sorry for late reply, This indystry is good and based on your skills you can grow. My suggestion is you should practice & learn everyday.
Cool, any tip how to do that? Like do you use differrent physics settings for leaves / trunk etc...
Maintain low poly for stem, that will maintain the shape. Then try increase the stiffness slowly. Then Leafs are attached to stem and i maintain low mass for leafs.
Nice one
Thanks 🔥
You worked all Indian movies, excellent visualization
Thank you
superb match move, You did perfectly,
Glad you liked it!
@@GROOT2020, i am also vfx and houdinifxartist....
Hii it's looking great please give a small tutorial for this I'm looking for this type of simulation . 🤞
Regular works are going very tight. not sure..
Nice
nice video
Thank you
What is requirement of capital for full plant
This is created for School education purpose, so the client did not give any info about capital and expense.
wow Good work man. have you Hip file for this?
Thanks, But this was created in December 2018, and the files in my hard disk lost, These are some playblast sent for my client. I used low poly for this, Actual geometry not worked well. I weld the points between leaf and stem.
good!!
Thanks!
Keep rocking my dear
Wher you working now ?
FX TD at DNEG, chennai
@@cgiworld8872 good to know
Only 2GB RAM and it tooks only 10 min for simulation
did you make the tutorial?
will you make the tutorial soon?? im really looking forward to it!!
Hi sir!.... ur showreel is gud...... But a small mistake is there in voilet color model (walkcyle)
Awesome stuff! Could you briefly tell me how you got the splinters so small? I'm trying to achieve something similar to this but I get big ugly chunks when I use the DMM wood splinter image. Did you have to make a custom splinter image?
the car is too slow to do that
I think the issue is that there's no particles. If wood were to be hit with this much force, there wouldn't just be splinters, there'd also be small, dust sized particles.
@culliganbro1 play the force unleashed games
DMM is available in real time games
I used auto fracture node, I did n't pre shatter the model. for Breaking force i used metaball magnet force.
super, for shattering u used defult houdini shatter ?
I don't know why but the splinters all look too uniform
@sankarakumar1984 how soon? 3 more months?
rendering time ??
Soon tutorial for this simulation... :)
