Let me help fix this, there are things that might be your fault and others that might be out of your control. The best way to approach this is to quit blaming yourself or anyone else and get with someone who can help you find a good regiment and stick with it. I lost 130 lbs this year and am now near my target weight and I am in my mid 40s. I have been obese for 25 years, had two spinal fusions, 2 hip replacements, and a shoulder replacement. For 2 decades every time I went to the doctor they told me it was diet and exercise. Just fix that and it will come off. Guess what... I had a lipid processing disorder that led to AVN. It caused all of my joints to deteriorate and caused my liver and pancreas not to be able to process lipids. I was eating 900 calories a day for 11 years and walking 2 miles every morning and gaining weight. Then two pills a day and a diagnosis later and I eat almost twice that and lose close to 5 lbs a week. It very well may NOT be your fault even though idiots on the internet say so. Go see a specialist and come up with a gameplan. YOU CAN DO IT!!!

The message was meant to motivate them to take those first steps because, like in your case, starting is often what leads to discovering the roadblocks that need to be addressed. If you hadn’t taken that first step and committed to the process, who knows how much longer it might have taken to get your diagnosis and start improving your health. Hey Juan!! Hope all is well with you also!! Broooo, I've been crazy busy! Everything is good and I'll be live Friday night at 9 pm central if you're able to attend. Thanks man. I really do think I missed out on things when I was younger sometimes but it's all good. Never know. Maybe if I had started early things could have turned out bad.
Processed doesn't necessarily equate to unhealthy. Milk is processed. Yoghurt is processed. Bread is processed. As soon as you cook something, it's processed. It all depends on the ingredients and the nutritional value.
Thanks for the challenge-it's a great point! Yes, milk and yogurts are technically processed, and I do recommend them in certain situations, like for weight loss or muscle gain. I also agree that bread is processed but they are not all equal. Majority of store bought bread will not accommodate the journey I'm referring to. When I talk about cutting out processed foods, I’m referring more to heavily processed items like deli meats, processed carbohydrates, and packaged snacks. These often come with added sugars, unhealthy fats, preservatives, and low nutritional value. The big picture is focusing on nutrient-dense, whole foods while being selective about the processed items you include, making sure they serve your goals rather than hinder them. Hope that clears things up!
Why do people fly sweet potatoes? Where I am from we take them from the farm,boil them and eat them with tea in the morning while going to school or work. I saw people flying sweet potatoes in saudi fpr the first time.
I have a friend from Japan who also ate sweet potatoes the same way you do. I also eat them boiled. But to answer your question, we eat them fried because they're DELICIOUS! 😆 I only air fry them now if I'm not boiling or baking them.

Good job. Thats been one of my struggles as well. For me: I try to just do something extra every day. I’ve lost 10 lbs in the last 3 weeks. I’ve got back to taking my lunch to work. Otherwise it is too easy to grab a fast food burger.
Yeah man, I absolutely have to have my meals prepped and ready. If not, five guys double cheese burger is my lunch of choice lol.. Congratulations on that 10 lbs. It's a big deal! Just stay the course and we'll make it through!!

Use Triple Zero or Chobani zero-sugar yogurt cups in place of sugar-free syrup. Layer it in between the pancakes. You'll thank me later and it makes the meal 30+ grams of protein.
