Preventing Utility Damage, and What To Do When You Have a Utility Strike
As someone who does not have a lineman's understanding of these processes, but has to explain it to a landowner, this was very helpful! Thank you, Mustache Man!!
this is incredible. thanks so much. i'm going to do this for real, instead of pretending like im going to do yoga
Hi Adam, thank you for the video. I'm from Los Angeles, & soon I will be tested on how to do this to move forward in their hiring process. I went to cdl school & took the basic linemen training course, getting this job means everything to me. I heard that they might have us demonstrate how to put a ladder into a underground vault or up against a utility pole. Could you please shed some light on this or even better yet do a video on it?! Thank you in advance Adam!
Worked at nuke plants for many years and these were the exercises 100s of workers did to start their day. Every craft; laborers, electricians, pipefitters, carpenters, operators. Everyone. It really helps.
THANK YOU. You wouldnt believe how hard its been trying to find a video that shows the stretches used to avoid injuries.
Nice work Aaron and luke! Brings a tear to a safety man's eye... ❤
i love snow, this vid reminds me of fire dept training
What's the inverval distance between each pole?
Nice cross arm setup
Why is the person doing the video of the least likely to have done any work that required stretching
Women work in construction, women weld, women work manual labor jobs. Please be mindful of others.
@@ducours no
@@ducours just becaus /some small amount/ do doesn't mean I have an obligation to asume a random one does
@@dans864 lol yes 🤡
@@dans864 or you could just stop assuming that someone doesn’t work in the field it’s a lot quicker
How many muscles will I receive from doing this?
Just do it and you will find out bro.
After 2 months I have developed mini, but visible biceps 💪🏽

And the people who don’t believe in EPZ say poles don’t conduct.
I was called out to a manufactured home being set up directly below high voltage lines. The set up crew was getting shocked pretty bad from the metal framework, while setting up the home. I came out, stuck my meter in the dirt and on the frame and was getting 120 VAC. Drove ground rods at each corner and connected to frame. Sure would hate to be living in that house....
shuuuut up mps bs
That last guy was a half inch from being done
Thank you for all you do. You all risk your lives to make ours better. Thank you so much. ❤❤❤
Never get hurt doing electrical. This is no joke. If you have to lie that your getting stung or theres poison ivy on the pole its worth more than a couple seconds of your life to figure it out
Is it weird that we use this every day for our crew?
Put the inward turned C-channel rail on your shoulder. It much easier on your shoulder.
Yes be aware, but why not build better standards where everything isn’t so congested.
Best excercises for streching is diging holes and braking the concreat with hand tool
I am going to Hades...watching that hubba bubba pink thing bounce off that ladder...she gave up IMMEDIATELY
The inexperienced guy that thinks he knows everything that's the most dangerous tool on any job site lol
DAM Clark
Looks like idiots are the most dangerous tool on the job.
Yup...for the last 6 weekends I've been standing on a ladder painting the house and fucking with Christmas lights thinking "This is where I die."
Thirty plus years climbing ladders as a professional painter and I’ve never fallen off a ladder. To be fair, if I’m not the one that stood it, I’m not climbing it without checking to see if it bounces left, right, or stays on center. Not too mention the vertical incline! Most ladder accidents happen when those using them haven’t been taught how to properly set them or walk them.
The worker is the most dangerous one.
The tool holding the tool. Easily.
The most dangerous tool on the job site is a drunk
Why in the hell did this show up on my feed when I need to go up to my roof to remove moss... ffs
To save your life
20 years. No accidents. 😊
Awesome! Whole careers are the goal!
That one with the tree branch was me this summer 😂
I agree with the stars. I been a painter / ladder monkey for 20 yrs. Blessed i haven't fallen off one. But seen many fall. Think ahead think safely and don't rush.
New fear unlocked 🔓
And thats why you have to have mewps and no latters on the job
Ban assault ladders
If we limit how many steps they're allowed to put on a ladder, then people won't be falling from such high heights😂
Let's not forget semi-automatic ladders.
Ladders 🪜 don’t kill people, people kill people.
ya. true. you're not wrong
hello dear your videos are very nice but your youtube has some problem like likes subscribe and views are not getting due to which your videos are not reaching your target audience if you want i can help you
Where do you get your isolation steps?
Thank you
Thank you for this! I recently got a new job at an automotive factory and it is definitely the kind of manual labor that gets to your body!! I wanted something with us Manual labor workers in mind to help my body feel better!
Glad you found it helpful!
That’s scary
Agreed! That's why you never trust rigging, inspect it, and never stand beneath a suspended load!
