Having owned an estate version with the same engine, you will never get even close to 36 mpg, around town about 18, on a motorway about 28 at best. Try to find a facelifted one, they had cured most of the rattles and other issues that made the early versions a nightmare to live with.

Why no milage details or cam belt history as cam belts on these are mega expensive. These early jags are cheap for a reason.

I understand why you block the plates out but checking the MOT history of a vehicle is a pretty standard requirement now…shame as seems like a decent car…although I do read they can have various electrical issues/glitches and mechanical problems are expensive to put right.
