That’s great you got this far at least. Besides Overwatch what other ones did you install? Error Trap has no menu it just works in the background. Have you installed Register? Make sure to clear your Cache before loading the game too. Register, master controller, and the rest should have options. If overwatch works the others should have the menus as well. @@KozyKubGam3r well, I found the problem: the whole installation process. I donk know what happened, but the installer doesn't create the correct folders. I had a Mod folders, but not the correct folder. I installed in another Disk, and just like that, I had the Mod, Download and Cache folders. Now the mods work as intended. Really thanks for take the time to answer me, I really appreciate cuz every others keeps saying I didn't installed correctly the folders, and all this time was my dumb PC being weird

Sorry yr having trouble. Have you checked the default tab? What kind of files are they, package or sims3packs? If they might be corrupt check documents > electronic arts > ccmagic > corrupt Also if they’re sims3packs documents > electronic arts> ccmagic> sims3packs If they’re not in those folders, you should be able to find them in the packages folder. If you find them in there you could try again. Try only a few at a time. Ccmagic can be unstable. If no luck I suggest trying the sims 3 mod organizer. I just did a series on how to use it and it’s much more stable than ccmagic.

Are you using ccmagic for the 1st time? do you have the mods framework resource.cfg and ccmagic resource the same? Do you have nonas ccmerged in overrides? could you give specifics and I can try and help

@@KozyKubGam3r Hell, not sure what I did... but it now works :) however I have tried to get more and my compressor application is not compressing. I get a message saying error the system cannot find the file specified?

Have you tried troubleshooting your pc audio? I would start there. If it only happens with Sims 3 it might be a virtual memory thing. Because some of the virtual memory is paged to the hard drive so depending how much space you have on your hard drive. You might need to free up space. Make sure yr drivers are updated as well. Nraas Overwatch might help too. I’ve never experienced that issue before, knock on wood lol! But the game does do weird things if the page filing can’t do what it needs to do which also causes error 12.

@@KozyKubGam3r Yeah have went through the audio troubleshooting.I have sims 3 on my c drive,same as windows 11 and there's over 70GB left on the SSD.I recently upgraded from windows 10 to 11 along with changing from a GTX 1080 to a Radeon 6750 XT and went from 16GB Ram to 32 and Ryzen 1600 to 3600 all drivers etc are up to date.It's only the Sims i have the issue is with,fifa football(soccer)also on the EA app gave the same audio problem but stopped eventually but the Sims hasn't stopped. @@KozyKubGam3r Yeah i've done audio troubleshooting etc.Fifa which i have on the EA app had audio problems but did stop but Sims is having the problem,all drivers are up to date I recently upgraded my pc and got Windows 11 and it has started since then,all other games are ok tho.I have Sims on my main c drive and there is a decent bit of room left(over 70GB)the game runs ok apart from the sound.

@@davidhenry1156 Have you tried limiting the fps to 60? You can do this with Lazy Duchess smooth patch. If Fps is running up and down with no limit it can cause weird issues and hurt the gpu also. Try that and let me know Edit: Also I recommend checking your power shell version seeing as you just upgraded to windows 11 and if you need an update this might help

@@KozyKubGam3r Sorry,i answered you twice there.The first one dissapeared after i typed it.Yeah it's @ 60fps limit and checked the Powershell version and all up to date.Will try few things later and let you know.

With S3 and the modders is the only way the game can run really. Although there is some that play vanilla, I played that way for years off and on but ran into a lot of crashes but now I prefer mods and cc. I honestly can't play Skyrim without mods as well lol!

Sorry it’s not working for your Sims 4. Have you tried Reshade instead, you might have better luck 🍀 I myself have never used Gshade with S4 and have no idea how different the setup might be

Ya I don't like that either tbh. Some need to tone it down a bit I think. I do some let's plays on twitch sometimes, no schedule rn but you're welcome of course:) I did start some playthroughs here but I felt I wasn't entertaining enough, lol!

Sorry to hear that. Cc magic is a super old utility and has had no updates since Seasons came out. There could be one of many reasons it's crashing and I know that's not very helpful but you could add me in discord (kozykub) and I can possibly troubleshoot what's going on. I'm also working on a tutorial that's long overdue on a different mod and cc manager that might be a solution for players that have too many issues with CC Magic.

Is it because you have the steam version or you set it up that way? It’s been a long time since I’ve had my game running without the launcher but either way I believe you can install any sims 3 content as package files.. Make sure your mods framework files are in the right place and you're placing the world file in the right place. I'm not sure if you're new to mods and package files but if you are you could first take a look at an older video on my channel here th-cam.com/video/KlL-lYsieBM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=YjtqMuQa8Nkz1xmp it will guide you to the right files and how to install them. I hope this helps. Other than that there could be a few other reasons they're not showing up

@@syndelgeline If you are installing the game on a ssd or any other drive other than the default drive, it will be in its own folder. This is the install folder. The documents folder is different, it’s the user folder. This folder needs to be on the same drive the game is on. You can move the documents folder with windows or you can use this method. This method is useful if you have programs on the C drive that depend on the documents folder. If you don’t then just moving the doc folder is easier. If that makes sense?

Where exactly are you referring to in the file directory? Because if the sims 3 is installed on your pc not mac I'm guessing, it should be in the install file. Depending on what drive you installed it on, If it's the C drive. It would be in program files -EA games-The Sims 3-Game-Bin Folder

What is it you’re trying to put in the bin? What part of the video are you stuck on?

copy the original sims 3 doc folder that's located in > Documents>Electronic Arts and paste it on the drive your game is installed on. Right click And click more options then pick link source. Go back to Documents>Electronic Arts and delete the original Sims 3 doc folder. Electronic Arts folder will be empty now, right click and more options>Drop as>Junction. The Sims 3 doc will now be mirrored and the pc will think it's still there. I know the video is a bit confusing, sorry. It's an old one :/

@@KozyKubGam3r Thank you so much! That will help me so much, I'm an og mod user, just finally setting down to go through my 32 gigs, my game is very upset at me! Would this work for me because I'm am on update 67, I was on 69 but I lost access to it when ea locked me out of my account due to two step verification. (long story) I liked the 69 launcher, but am going through steam right now. Is there a way to update the launcher or would that be unnecessary?

@@Aurelia_Nyx Unfortunately they haven't updated the launcher for version 67 yet. However Lazy duchess smooth patch will work for steam version. Sorry you lost access to your .69 version. It's been years since I played on 67 and for the most part I cant remember a lot. Lazy duchess launcher is a nice alternative but not necessary. With all the mods and cc you have, the best thing I can suggest is make sure to clarify what's compatible with 67 and to organize it all as best as possible. Also backup everything that's important of course. I do prefer .69 version because most good mods are made for this version now and this version will save you some trouble in the long run imo. But I hope you can get it all sorted and get back to it without too much trouble. If you have disks you can register them on the EA app and then re download them. Or/and you would have to purchase what you don't have on disk through the EA app. What ever you have already, if you do, downloaded from Steam can't be updated unfortunately. If you do decide to switch over to EA for the 69 version, make sure uninstall everything first completely. I always recommend Revo Uninstaller pro. It will un install stuff you don't need that windows un installer leaves behind and can cause issues with the sims 3 fresh install

It sounds like your ram sticks may not support xmp profiles. What’s the voltage on them?

If you’re not having any issues like crashes or anything, I don’t see the harm in leaving it. The game won’t use more than what it’s designed to use.

@@Saikeirei6666 no matter where your sims is actually installed. You should have a documents folder. It is typically on your c: drive. Within documents you should see an electronic arts folder and within that folder should be a sims 3 folder> this is where you would place the mods framework folder. And if your game can load up then you should have an install folder that also contains a sims 3 folder. This folder typically is on yr c: drive as well and would be the same file path as I show on the video for installing the world file. Oh okay phew! Sometimes the descriptions won’t show up for some players because they either put the files in the wrong spot or their mod framework is corrupt or their game is in a different language so it can be a bit of a pain to fix
