Cereza’s death was the Little Boy that dropped on October 28th 2022. On screen, they killed off 3 of the main protagonists. Now some of you will say they’re coming back! It's in the chapter title, it’s Singularity’s words, they’re just in Inferno. Yeah, I get that. Kamiya once said that most of us didn’t understand the ending, and whether or not that’s a hint that they are alive is irrelevant, and if we don’t understand that, we’re apparently not true Bayonetta fans. But that’s the problem… I feel like a lot of the uncivil discourse that happens online about Bayonetta 3 is due to the game’s inability to explain the story. I’m not saying to blindly just tell us every single thing that’s happening in the background and foreground, we just want a clearer, consistent, story. Quentin Tarantino does this with little bits of his films and while I do agree with this kind of mystery for little details here and there (snippet), it kind of loses the point when it’s done to the major plot itself. The whole story, or even little scenes are left for the audience to theorize and interpret in order for a reasonable explanation of what’s going on - it’s all left to theories and speculation which is fine! I absolutely love the concepts that Leily, Athena, and Maddy have been putting out, which PlatinumGames should be doing. ... Right now, it feels like we’re in a state of division, depression, and apathy for the series going forward, but don’t worry, by the end of this video you’ll see the solution.
