Moses and Commitment to the Cause (Josh Coker) 12.15.2024
By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months of his parents, because they saw he was a proper child; and they were not afraid of the king's commandment. By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter; Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward. By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible. Through faith he kept the passover, and the sprinkling of blood, lest he that destroyed the firstborn should touch them. By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry land: which the Egyptians assaying to do were drowned.

Come to Me, and I Will Give You Rest Mat 11:25 At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes. Mat 11:26 Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight. Mat 11:27 All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; n...

Beautiful. ❤
Make melody i your heart unto the lord

Amen.
The most beautiful singing......bring in a piano or organ and THAT will destroy a worship service as we seek to worship our God "in spirit and truth".
Amen! Even so come Lord Jesus
Amen! That is such good preaching!

If, I correctly if I’m not mistaken, the Primitive Baptist church doesn’t use instruments in there churches, and the hymn books it has shaped notes in stead of regular notes like everyone used to see in the hymn books in the other denominations
I’ve listened to this many many times. Never ceases to touch my heart, it’s as though I can feel the presence of the Lord in that room. Thank you for putting it on here. Bless the Lord oh my soul.
I also was surprised there are no head covering for the women
Please post the words or the titles so we can follow with the words, Loving the calm feeling I get listening
Wonderful message! I love hearing about God's grace!! Thank you!😊 We must give all glory to God always and submit to him all our burdens. Pray on it, pray through it, and pray over it! God bless you!❤
Post more singing! What a blessing
I’m surprised there is no head covering for women.
From Tanzania
Lovely singing.
So beautiful. I was raised Primitive Baptist,, my parents,, my grandparents,, and the great-grands. So, as I quote an elder from years ago, "whenever I am laid to rest, folks can look down and say "there lies a Primitive Baptist"".... And have always sung these beautiful tunes,, without the instruments,,, with our "Sacred Harps"... May the lord richly bless you all..
Beautiful
Amen, Brother. Thank you for that blessed message.
Very pretty.🙂
This is one beautiful practice Primitives have in common with churches of Christ! Keep up the beautiful praise!
beautiful. can you post the lyrics?
Beautiful. I love this song. I could sing it forever with or without music to go along with it. Played this for several years for my church band. Nothing beats singing songs like this with others who love the lord.
My Grandfather was aPrimitive Baptist minister in Ironton, missouri, and this really takes me back. What a beautiful "Good Old Song".
Hi good morning! Just so you know, I am a Pentecostal, but I would rather church worship be this than crazy modern music. Keep it up you saints of God.
What do you disagree about the Primitive Baptist?
Beautiful thank you 🙏 I miss those beautiful songs my heart aches for them we don’t sing them anymore in my church ⛪️ 😢😢
Tuesday/March/19/2024. ✝️💪🏼🙏🏼🙌🏼✝️💪🏼🙏🏼🙌🏼✝️ AMEN!! I come to worship our Lord with you... Glory to God, hallelujah!! He is worthy to be praised! ✝️💪🏼🙏🏼🙌🏼✝️💪🏼🙏🏼🙌🏼✝️
I am a worship guitarist (and mandolin player) in a Baptist Church here in Australia...This is beautiful! Just voices!
Amen, Brother. Love y’all and God bless y’all ♥️🙏🏻
It’s no criticism, but I was a little surprised that the ladies are bare headed!
One of very favorite hymn! Beautifully done!!
Amen. Most believe that everyone has faith and has to exercise it to “get saved” and they point to Romans 12:3 to support their idea. But the “every man” mentioned in that verse is everyone in consideration and not all of Adam’s race. We read in 2nd Thessalonians 3:2-“And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith.” When we also read Ephesians 5:9-“(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)” we see the truth as the wicked of this world will never have faith and therefore a person must be born of God’s Spirit before they can exercise it.
Preacher man con man!!
Amen
This was one the best NYEs I’ve ever had. Singing was majestic; and the preacher spoke with power and authority.
Thank you.
God made all of those filthy unholy things. What does that say of God?
THE LORD IS GREAT!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Praise The Lord!
I love this kind of singing. I belong to an association of primitive baptists located in southwest Virginia. Some of our churches sing with music and some don't have music. I love the singing in the church without the music. A lot of videos from our association are on my youtube channel if anyone is interested in listening.
Where at in VA?
The church I belong to is Rollers Chapel Primitive Baptist and it is located a few miles from Duffield, Va. There are a little over 30 churches in our association and they are located in Ohio, Virginia, Tennessee and Kentucky. The biggest part of my youtube videos are filmed in these churches that make up our association.
this church is the hardshell type, super predestinarian, nothing like the Eastern District Association of Primitive Baptists to which you belong. This church believesyou dont have to believe in Jesus to be saved and most will never believe the gospel, yet they will be saved. They dont believe in preaching to "dead sinners". Youl never hear this church shout and jump for joy like your association. They think sunday school is a sin as well, unlike yours. They would never have fellowship with your association, nor would yours have fellowship with them. I love the Eastern singing as well, esp the video "He'll Hold My Hand"
