Barrel Aged Flicks Podcast
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 13 มี.ค. 2021
“Our podcast started in 2021 with just a couple of guys talking about movies-and we decided to hit record. We began as an audio-only podcast, but by summer 2024, we leveled up and went full video! Now, we’re a video podcast that combines movie reviews with perfectly paired drinks. While we love diving into classic films, we also tackle brand-new releases in our ‘Hot Takes’ segment.
With hosts Ron, Stew, Chase, Ragnar, Gute, and Adam leading the way, you can expect plenty of laughs, movie trivia, and some good-natured ball-busting. And let’s not forget our punishment wheel-where the unlucky spin takes a shot! Join us for new episodes every Sunday night, with occasional bonus episodes dropping on Thursdays.”

Here are 2 things I remember from that movie. Number 1 , the scene when he is dressed in the bomb suit and looks at the IED or what ever it was, he turns around and starts walking back to the command post. The number one rule in EOD is that you never turn your back to an IED. The bomb suit protection is mainly located in the front. So you always back away from a potential IED explosion. Mistake number 2 that I remember. In one scene he picks up with one hand lol one hand lol 5 or 6 rounds of 105mm tank or artillery shells with one hand lol. Those rounds weigh about 10lbs each at a minimum. Plus it has Detonation cord attached at the fuze end of the round. That det cord would have yanked out of the ends. That’s my 2 cents.
I am retired EOD also and can’t wait to hear this!
We had A lot fun doing this episode , Hope you Enjoy it !!!
Was very strange lol
I never thought of this movie as gender changing lol wild
Great Podcast
Thank you ❤
Antler kill fo sho
I’m definitely stoked for this one
I just saw it and i didnt notice ppl walking out of the theatre
only a few
Sonny and Cher?
lmao
Good stuff fellas!!!
Thanks, man! Glad you enjoyed it!
I have to disagree. I didn't not like this film at all. First of all, this story has been to death. Then, Taylor Johnson gave a distractingly bad performance much like Keanu Reeves in Bram Stokers. Nicolas Hoult, again, didnt care for his performance either. Willem Dafoe's character was just goofy and had no place in this film. Was he supposed to be comedic? That was weird. I couldn't stand Depp's character. I was glad she was being tormented. She deserved it. She was annoying. I wish they killed her sooner. This was a completely forgettable movie.
I agree with you on Aaron Taylor Johnson , only thing in the movie I felt was weak , bit to me it didn’t take it away from me , Keanu Reeves was much worse, just curious , have you seen The orginal Nosferatu ? , because that helps with making this so much better
Guuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuute!!! What a drink and a movie! Killing it fellas! Happy holidays!
Killer Clowns from Outer Space. Ahhh the forgotten masterpiece, nostalgia.
I watch Violent Night, Scrooged and Die Hard every Christmas Season
I definitely remember this coming out a lot of kids wanted to be fire fighters for Halloween this year lol
Protein mealworms are underrated ❤
Definitely one of my favorites . Why couldn’t you just put the bunny back in the box😊
O no not 2 girls one cup ℹ almost completely erased that from my memory lol 😂
Never thought about a prequel to 13 Ghost... that could be 🔥🔥🔥
The jackal ❤
Y’all razz each other so much it’s definitely good chemistry 🧪 I’m definitely down with evil dead 1 ❤
I’m a sour tart old bitch to lol 😂
If I’m not mistaken, from dusk til dawn was supposed to be the TFTC vampire movie and the frighteners was supposed to conclude the trilogy. Bordello of blood came about after FDTD fell through. I’d like to see a fan edit of both those movies with a crypt keeper intro/outro bc I still think of them as spiritual successors.. also that jackolantern thing is fucking epic! Entertaining show so far! 🎃🤘
Thank you so much for the Compliment , I do remember now reading of Frighteners being a part of it, an amazing horror flick from Peter Jackson ...halloween id our favorite time to do shows
That was Rip Torn in Dodgeball, not Brian Cox. 😂
Lmao , simple mistake
I’m with you by Avril Lavigne was a banger too
Just subscribed really interesting podcast (Helped kill time during a 11hr Graveyard shift!) 👍👍👍 Hopefully more people discover you guys
That’s means a lot , thanks brother

Great list team!! Amazing film maybe left out was James Cameron's Robin Hood with Russell Crowe. Not gonna when any awards but it's a fun watch with great music.
Best movie ever.
Yeah this was okay , not great but okay , doesn’t touch the orginal , Michael Keaton is still the same beetlejuice , but I’m glad o saw it still
I can and do watch the original Beetlejuice over and over again over the years to this day. I can't get enough of it. I'm a huge fan. I walked out of the theatre thinking that the sequel movie is a movie that I would not like to watch over and over like the original. I have no interest watching it for a second time. Pace was to fast for me and had to many villain's in my opinion, Lydia's boyfriend, the teenage boy, Beetlejuice's wife and Beetlejuice. Was real let down on the way Beetlejuice's' wife went out. I thought the build up of her was huge and good! I expected her to do some real damage and her do some crazy stuff at the end, but no, a sandworm eats her and poof, all gone. I did like the effect's and design and makeup but didn't care for all of the story lines. Story lines that I thought were pretty good but they should have stuck to one. The disco music stunk. It's ok, there is still the original.
I'm sorry, but what the f*** are they talking about?
The Trojan War / The Iliad
I think Alien, Aliens were best in the Franchise. Looking forward to Romulus.
Romulus was brain dead corperate goy slop long may it rot
Who's tf is fidi alvarez?
@@billysanchez8773 the director , was a spelling typo in the captions
glad she agreed because the final scene rocked
not only that, she herself specified which parts of the movie to use it. and she chose correctly!!
Wow! I am glad they did. I am glad she said yes!
Eh?
The greatest showman
Great recap
Not liking the dark knight voice is absurd
Good stuff
What was the transformation getting naked??? 😂
🎉🎉🎉🎉
This short is garbage. Nice picture of the transformation. 👎
This is such an empty clip. I guess we don't get to see the thing that they're looking at and talking about. 👎
