Dark Souls 3 Dragonslayer Armour Boss Fight
As Sceleritas states when you ask him about Durges past, he says that Orin fully picked apart and destroyed their brain, permanently destroyed it, which is why there is no way to ever get ALL memory back. So it makes sense that Heal and Noblestalk only give you glimpses at moments in the past.
He's drunk on FREAKING WHAT
This lore is the reason why I collect a bunch of bottled specimens, skulls, and flasks and display them at camp.
I gave it to Shadowheart and 2 hours later I realized I could have take it as I'm playing as durge
So if you eat the mushroom you have a really bad trip
I kept the noblestalk as durge because of the full heal. Campaign goes smoothly until I'm fighting cazador and I'm really low so I pop that boy and i have the flashback in the middle of the fight 😂 I just like to imagine a fight in which your opponent is like hol up and just eats a mushroom and has a mini trip midfight, then keeps fighting as nothing happened lol
Why is noone mentioning the fact you somehow teleprot to the crash on the beach eating this mushroom?
Interestingly, I managed to get the noblestalk before the butler made himself known (other story-essential beats kept popping up during long rests and delaying him) and the memory recovered was completely different. Strange...
I see durge also a fan of tonsils stone removal videos
Who among us hasn't gotten drunk on tonsil pickling water while vivisecting our latest victim?
Good to know that Durge has OCD or is at least a neat freak
Isn't that technically what his condition is, having obsessive intrusive thoughts...?
Why does he get a collection and I just got a dead baby?
Tonsil stone pickling water, what the fuck.
_"Drown the Butler in the victim's open bladder-cavity._ This might just be one of the most vile options I've ever seen in a game.
Maybe it's not as impactful as we would've hoped, but still the fact it's these is very pleasing
I loved playing durge so much. Because all of your companions have mad backgrounds and playing a normal tav seems strange. But it does make sense thzt tav is the leader in this situation, being the only bot crushed from the past. But with durge, while playing i felt more connected to the character, understanding each other
Definitely explains his "medicine" skill. Guy is basically Jack the Ripper.
How do you stunn him?
I blew it up :(
It's funny how Durge can stumble into becoming a benevolent hero by the end of the game if the player so chooses, although, not as benevolent as a normal person can be but benevolent for a person who was the most disgusting, vile serial killer to ever grace the lands. If his sister had not done what she had done to Durge, there'd be no risk for such a thing happening. lol
OH MY GOOD LORD "TONSIL STONE PICKLING WATER?!" THATS VISCERAL
i'd really like to see it
Not sure why most of you played as dragon thingy when doing your dark urge. Doesn't fit.
The default durge is male white Dragonborn sorcerer.
@@rustyjones7908 I take it you played stock Tav too then huh?
@@zer00rdie tav doesn't have a default. If you feel the need to argue further, go bother Larian
@@rustyjones7908 Naa, I'll let you think so.
I wish I liked playing Durge more I played through it once as a Durge obsessed with power but still trying to be better for his friends and while sometimes it’s funny how hilariously evil you can be it’s also exhausting playing such a terrible person
god this game is great
Just came to comment I thought it said "What happens if The Dark Urge eats Nickleback?" Will honestly watch later when I actually play the game. ;)
Noblestalk is a damn powerful cure for amnesia and brain damage (if you give it to Baelen he completely recovers his personality and cognitive abilities). What the hell must have happened to the Dark Urge to still have memory loss after eating the Noblestalk? Refrain from answering, I'm still in act 2.
The Noblestalk has a similar effect on Shadowheart, who also has amnesia but also knows why she does (Her Goddesss, Shar, sealed them away). That's all I'm telling you.
There's a reason why those headaches are so bad for Durge, you'll find out more.
@@hyfryd6677thats subtle😅
Most of the dark urge revelation happens in act 3 . But look around because in certain area in act 2 (I won't tell which ones) there is some hidden books linked to your story
@@ilyia_ In Act 3? I just finished Durge and I am pretty sure I was told basically everything by the end of act 3.
Months later and people are still finding so much depth to Baldur's Gate 3. The developers did an amazing job
Blonde Dark Urge Halfling girl called Buttercream coming right up chief
I'm playing a goody-two-shoe drow dark urge. It was pretty depressing for her to return to the Underdark and walk through what was supposedly her home with no memory of it. She got the noblestalk for herself without even considering giving it to the couple who risked everything to find it or to give it to Shadowheart who was suffering the same affliction as her. It was the first truly selfish thing she could remember doing, all in a desperate attempt to prove that she was more than a depraved murderer. I know I shouldn't have been surprised. And yet.
I think it's worth noting that if you eat the noblestock before meeting the butler you get a different memory. I was honestly surprised seeing this scene because in my first playthrough I hadn't met the butler before I got to the underdark, so seeing this cutscene was completely new to me
Moral of the story: Save-edit yourself a dozen Noblestalks.
@awhellnah__ I ain't replaying the game for a single optional dialogue that has absolutely no consequence for the story, mate.
i didnt even think this was possible wtf !!!
As someone who suffers from Tonsil stones, tonsil stone pickling water is the foulest thing I could have possibly imagined. For some reason, THATS what gets me about this scene. Not the screaming vivisection of a living sentient being, not the pickled organs or the realization that dark urge is TRULY already an evil bastard, but the idea of the true unholy stench of pickled tonsil stones, and the idea of someone *drinking* that
How do they occur tho? Is it due to health problems or bad hygiene?
@@kitten_with_bad_breath sometimes just genetic. If your tonsils are particularly porous things collect. Sometimes its bad hygiene, sometimes its health problems, sometimes its a bad diet. Can be many things.
@@kitten_with_bad_breath Regular tonsillitis during young age can cause the tonsils' surface to become porous, with many "crypts" appearing throughout the organ. Saliva, food, drinks etc. are then trapped in said crypts, causing them to harden and expel foul smell. Good hygiene can extend the time needed for the stones to form and minimize amount of bacteria preying upon the debris, but won't get rid of them, this can only be achieved by surgery (i.e. tonsillectomy, cryptolisis)
@@NakimesisXthey always come back, I normally flush them out with the syringe I used for the wisdom teeth holes
I just pulled the stones out. They haven't came back. I also had one get stuck in my gland under my tongue for years. Finally came loose and out it went.
explain a gith bhaalspawn, how does that work even?
Something something gods did stuff in dnd?
A wizard did it
There's also a cat in Moonrise Towers and if you can talk to it it remembers you because you've been there before.
bruh youtube is addicted to recommending me fkn spoilers for this game lmao
Pro-tip. Give the Noblestalk to the lady. Then in Act 3 she will sell you more and they refresh.
Won't be the same item, though, those won't restore memories.
You can also give her the Noblestalk and then pickpocket it back.
What robe is that?
Default occultist garnement you start with
Drown the butler in the victim's open bladder cavity' JESUS CHRIST!
I'm sorry are we just gonna gloss over the TONSIL STONE PICKLING WATER comment
Fr, this shit is so nasty i had to stop eating to recover from the shock of conceiving this scene
While I get the mockery of Goody two shoes lawful stupid I still don't want to be as vile as the opposite. I guess it must be funny for some people, like subverting a trope but I'm far done with subversions.
I don't think you understand what the Dark Urge actually is...
@@feyefall4855 You're right. I didn't play the game yet. Maybe on holidays I'll finally find some time

@@vespenegas261 no, just ur decision
Ahh, the Planescape Torment school of making you go "I did WHAT??"

Weirdly less horrifying despite the Dark Urge being a psychopath and the spawn of the God of Murder.
@@TheBayzentwell, The Nameless One had hundreds, if not thousands, of years to be an awful person to everyone he brought close to him, not to mention all the shadows of people across the planes who died in his place to keep him immortal.
TIL that the Noblestalk *exists*.
I blew it up as Karlach because it gave me an inspiration point, not realizing I could have gotten that from blowing up any other bibberbang 😭
Dang is it better for the Urge to eat it or to give it to Shart because that unlocks an additional thing for her story once you reach the city
I feel like the memory durge has isn't very telling of them aside from "duh he's your butler" but Shadowheart instead recovers a memory of someone who was close to her when she was in the House of Grief
Even if shadowheart doesn’t eat the mushroom you still can find the person in the same spot as if you ate the mushroom. Unlocks new dialogues was well
Shart… hahaha. That’s pretty good. I’m almost disappointed that is not used to tease her in game.
Give it to the woman who gives the quest and she will have them for sale in act 3. Apparently you can then get an endless supply
What is this Noblestalk and where to get it? Ah, nevermind, found the answer in your earlier comment. I completely missed it in my first playthrough.
You find it in the underdark among all the bibberbangs where you rescue a dwarf. You need to put out the torch on the ground with water then destroy the bibberbangs, if you dont put out the torch the bibberbangs will explode and destroy the noblestalk. Once you have removed the bibberbangs the noblestalk should be close to one of the walls.
@@camelwars You can also buy more in act 3 if you give the noblestalk to the Bonecloak couple in Act 1, though it doesn't let me give the noblestalk to Shadowheart for some reason (not sure if bug).
@@camelwars Just tried to grab it with mage hand earlier tonight. The hand had it, then next turn, it disappeared.
I keep burning it up lol
It takes some serious balls to tell a 25th level lich to fuck off, Vlaakith can do things that Larian studios can't even program into the game, she is the only character in the game with access to spells like Wish. When she claims to be a god she isn't exaggerating by much, and the fact you can even survive this conversation is impressive.
Somehow "tonsil stone pickling water" was the most disgusting part of this to me D:
Too bad you cannot hunt the (w)itch down and destroy her...
