Disgusting performance. All you see, is a physically strong side with average abilities, who use that to prevent opponents from playing. They use intimidation, and obviously offer no entertainment whatsoever. They have lost anyway, but a few tips to beat them are simply this: Play with pace; don't spend too long with the ball, so play a passing game which uses the entire pitch and forces them to chase the ball. Lastly, don't let them intimidate you. Next season, make these knuckleheads work for their points. They got them too easily this time.

One of the dirtiest sides I've ever seen, but atleast the Crazy Gang could play a bit. Even the fans look as uncompromising, but football was invented to promote actual skill. Totton just play through the man. They don't ever win the ball legitimately. They lack ideas for an above league, and their style of play will find them being off the pace. If Salisbury fall for that rubbish, then they'll have to look at themselves. I think their quality will beat them. It's a style which should be banned. It's in poor taste, like fox hunting, bear beating, and giving the wife a slap.

Only way to upset Chesham is to make them chase the ball, but all Totton are about is to be over physical in the challenge and intimidate opponents. There's no real pace in the team, and using that against a technically good side obviously failed to work. You'll get away with that in play offs, but a step up is too far.

More messy goals from AFC Totton. They look like mistakes, but this team uses physical force, and that's enough to knock opponents off the ball. This team are well drilled to just do enough and not make fouls, but it's clearly not football.

Teams that cheat to win games always think they are doing something great, but real football always defeats that in the end.

You played against players which didn't want to have their bones broken.

The Totton keeper kept time wasting; pretending to be injured, then purposely not releasing the ball after Hendon's second. He was quite vocal with the crowd, but left with a sprain and looked embarrassed after the final whistle. That's why 2 mins were added on! Totton's players were huge, and used that advantage to bully their way through the game. They looked physically stronger, and used that to intimidate and win challenges. I saw one guy kick a player's foot to clear a ball. He didn’t care when he went down. It needed all 11 opponents to counter those horrible tactics, but it seemed about 5 gave in! All the subs should've been on, after it went 1-2, but the manager waited until last 7 minutes to act. Dave should've come on in first, as he's a very good ball player. The extra energy on the wing opened things up, and Hendon then tore the less skillful Totton apart. This was a game Hendon should've won, but maybe it just wasn't worth competing in. Totton are not footballers. They are a modern day Crazy Gang. This style of football will never defeat or replace the true art of playing football. This match wasn't about who was better. It was down to who was prepared to look so bad.

A keeper who is basically a cheat. He pretends to be injured, then uses his presence to hold onto the ball inorder to waste time. He continued to fool the ref with a fantom injury, but even he felt embarrassed when that was pointed out. His confidence raises when his side is winning, but he wasn't smiling when 3 points turned to one within 3 minutes.

Fair assessment of the game.Being a Boro supporter , I thought we shaded it first half and let you off the hook.Your keeper won't have a quieter afternoon.Good luck for the rest of the season.

Lost the attacking impetus that was there with abundance at the start of the season. Feels like Malony is the one player able to pull strings and Scottie not getting service. Missing Taylor and Alfie needs more of a shot for me

I really enjoyed that Merthyr game. We played some terrific football and we just battered them. The scoreline doesn't always give a true reflection of the game, 2-1 makes it look a close game but it wasn't Totton dominated really, they wasted so many chances it was unbelievable!.

We need to get a proper Cam with decent zoom! I had a job to see a few of the goals. BTW where was the sound?
