Daisy chain is the same stitch used in crochet. At the end of the day, I insert a tiny clip through the last chain and it's easy to pull and continue the next day. Could I tie off the last chain with a little carabinier and just pull from there?

How does that twist manifest when it wasn't there originally?

I usually end up clipping the daisy chain to itself with the swivel clip!

Great tip towards the end for the stuck-in-a-loop predicament. I've been there many times!

How noisy are these things and what laws regulate where they can and can't be used? I gave up drones because there is no real freedom to fly them. I can't see how this would be different?

PremierKites has lost all potential business from me after receiving this item via FedEx. I was very disappointed in the way it was packaged when I received mine. There was no bubble wrap or packing material of any kind. It was just the reel in an empty cardboard box. It arrived damaged. The reel does not spin true because of the damage and it hits the hard lock mechanism during about 1/4 of each turn. I'm trying to use hammers and levers to bend it into workable shape. I can't understand how a product of this price (I ordered the 14 inch) could be packaged so poorly. This reflects badly on PremierKites and I won't order any other product from that site. I have shown every kiter friend of mine the damage and how it was packaged and I told them where I ordered it from. I have let my Facebook friends know that I ordered this from PremierKites and that PremierKites just threw it in an empty box without packaging material of any kind. Who packages expensive items like that these days????

This is what I needed, and with a little practice I can finally fly my octopus kite and store it properly....thank you!

@apia6000 I think you can go safely two miles and beyond with clear view but you'd need a camera (search FPV on youtube).
